What forum should I post in?

Perhaps this is addressed somewhere on the non-mobile version of the site, and if so I apologize, but I access this mostly from my phone and haven't found what I'm looking for.

Is there a general description of each forum category somewhere? Some are obvious, like what I wore, but some I'm not quite sure of, like "dressing."

Or, if I wanted to post a question about general personal style, where would that go? What about hair, makeup or accessories?

The forum has five main categories:

Body Type: Understanding your body type and how it affects your style.
Dressing: What to wear, how to wear it, and when to wear it.
Shopping: Where to shop, shopping strategy and finding great deals.
What I Wore: Documenting your outfits and getting feedback from the forum.
Inspiration: Things that inspire your fashion and style.
Book Club: Discussions about books relating to fashion and style.
Fashion Week: Everything relating to fashion weeks around the world.
Sales and Deals: Let your fellow members know about opportunities to save.
General: Anything else relating to fashion and style.

Great input from Alassë, here's some extra info.

- Body Type: Questions, thoughts, advice on body type.
- Dressing: I'll add a few examples to elab on the description above: this is the place to e.g. ask the forum what to wear to a specific occasion, which silhouettes suit your body, which colours look fab with your complexion, which silhouettes and looks will work for your style persona... Or share your thoughts about putting together a particular capsule, chat about how you are interpreting a YLF ensemble...
- Shopping: Where to shop, share shopping strategies or a great shopping experience, ask help if you are looking for something in particular...
- What I Wore: Here you can post pictures of your outfits, share how you felt about the look, ask other people for feedback, ways to tweak a look...
- Inspiration: Share anything that inspires your personal style, or that you think might be inspirational to others.
- Book Club: This was originally created to discuss the titles for YLF Book Club. It is also our virtual living room where we can chat about other fashion-related books, magazines and movies.
- Fashion Week: Your two cents about everything related to the various fashion week events around the globe.
- Sales and Deals: Came across an interesting sale or a great deal? This is the place to share it with the rest of the YLF community.
- General: Feel free to post anything style-related that doesn’t really fit into the other categories here.

There are three other categories that don’t appear in the “Latest” list on the front page of the forum. They can only be read on their specific category page:
- Off Topic: The place to discuss anything not related to fashion and style.
- Style Exchange: Here you can post items you’d like to pass on to other forums members (swap or sell).
- Technical Support: If you are experiencing any issues with the website or phone app, or have questions about how something works, start a thread in this category, and Greg or I will get back to you asap.

Also: Please ddon't stress too much about this, and if you would ever like to have a thread moved to a different category, you can always PM me or mention it on that specific thread.

I think that sometimes there can be overlap. I know that sometimes I wonder whether I should post something in Shopping or Dressing, though I can't think of an example now. I usually decide in favor of Dressing if the question is more of a personal nature (meaning related to my specific preferences), and I choose Shopping if it is focused more on a store than on me and how I dress.
