We had this poll on our forum a while ago, but it’s a goodie so I’m running it here on the blog as well. You are on Team Jacket if you prefer to wear jackets. You are on Team Cardigan if you prefer to wear cardigans.

I have never been a cardigan girl and wholeheartedly bat for Team Pullover when choosing knitwear items for my wardrobe. That being said, I have two cardigans that I wear out in public. One has an interesting woven printed back, and the other has a woven chiffon ruffled collar. My two other cardigans have been demoted to loungewear and will soon be passed on to their next home.

When it comes to convenient cover-ups, I bat for Team Jacket. There is nothing quite as fabulous as the crisp tailoring or spunky integrity of the right woven jacket. I prefer their dressy vibe and often severe, and authoritative message. I enjoy how the right jacket takes an outfit from nice to killer. It’s a powerful item of clothing and the answer to a structured and sophisticated look. My jackets get a workout living in Seattle, and I never seem to have enough of them. I am always looking for more jackets.

Although I bat for Team Jacket, most of my clients bat for Team Cardigan because they are soft, comfortable, forgiving and more casual. For my clients, I’m glad that we have had a few stellar cardigan seasons. They have stocked up and are as happy as clams.

Over to you. Are you on Team Jacket or Team Cardigan? Tell us why and no batting for both Teams.
