If you’re in the mood to shop, now is a good time. There are Black Friday Sales everywhere. Here’s a list of fab items at Nordstrom, many of which I’ve seen in person. - SAVE THE DUCK Elsie Waterproof Puffer Coat: This is my favourite brand of very simple and casual short puffers at the moment. Lightweight, packable, and warm. Not too boxy or fitted. Good over layers. This silvery blue is yummy and unique.
- Eileen Fisher Long Sleeve Scrunch Neck Jersey Dress: This is a good dress on straighter and apple-shaped body types. Fab with a long statement necklace or scarf too.
- CeCe Puff Sleeve Crewneck Sweater: These sweaters run a little big and look great with skirts and wide crops. They look good on a smaller and larger bust.
- OPEN EDIT Luxe Link Toggle Collar Necklace: Click the pic to see how interesting the link and clasp look on the neck. Comes in gold.
- Bernardo Softy Glam Ecoplume Packable Puffer Coat: Streamlined Puffer Fabness. Lovely waist definition. Comes in more neutrals.
- Lauren Ralph Lauren Pillow Collar Quilted Puffer Jacket: The dramatic pillow collar on this puffer coat makes the look and is awesome, but make sure it's not too bulky around the neck.
- Sam Edelman Iridescent Water Repellent Hooded Puffer Jacket: Metallic Lilac Puffer Fabness.
- Levi's Ribcage High Waist Ankle Straight Leg Jeans: Great relaxed straights that aren't too high in the rise. Fitted on the waist, but roomy on the thighs. Soft and stretchy. Comfy.
- SARTO By Franco Sarto Jaci Oxford: A pair of purple oxfords with a purple heel is a rare find. These are comfy, lightweight, and come in cream and black. Chunky on the foot.
- Boss Landara Turtleneck Wool Poncho: A chic navy poncho to wear with jeans, dressy pants, or straight skirts. Dress it up or down.
- Stella McCartney Daria Print Button-Up Shirt: A stunning blouse in an eye-catching print. The sleeves are long, but can be cuffed back.
- Cole Haan Signature Hooded Coat: A fab coat on an apple-shaped body type. Works well on a larger bust because the neckline creates a V-shape. Fun asymmetrical button fastening. Well-made, and comes in lots of colours.
- Karen Kane Floral Tie Front Top: A nice blouse to wear with skirts, and made in the US. Runs big. There is a skirt to match, to create a two-piece dress.
- Rag & Bone Revival Sling Bag: A sling bag that's larger than a belt bag, but smaller than a backpack. Handy and interesting worn across the body. Comes in grey and brown.
- French Connection Mozart Popcorn Cotton Sweater: I bought this at the NAS in cream and love it. It has a fantastic architectural drape to it, and looks like a COS item. Just enough volume and structure.
- Dr. Scholl's Everyday Sneaker: Comfy with a subtle platform, and magical with silver or salt and pepper hair.
- Ray-Ban 50mm Wayfarer Sunglasses: I'm a big classic Ray-Ban Wayfarer fan, and these are awesome. The see-through blue looks soft and futuristic.
- Nordstrom Signature Cascade Collar Double Face Wool & Cashmere Coat: This silhouette is absolutely stellar on those who can fill it out. Size down, and comes in caramel.
- Stella McCartney Emilie Platform Derby: These are dramatic, and a little stiff. But fab if your feet aren't too fussy. Looks great with a black, white and tan outfit.
- SARTO By Franco Sarto Zaren Stretch Block Heel Boot: Groovy silver boots that are comfy and make a statement. Comes in neutrals.
- AllSaints Link Drop Earrings: These interesting earrings are dainty in a chunky way and come in silver.
- CeCe Clip Dot Sleeve Sweater: A romantic mixed media sweater for Team Cranberry with awfully pretty sleeves. Might need to size down.
- Aquatalia Laila Water Resistant Bootie: A refined hiking boot vibe that is weatherproof. Best on a lower volume foot, although you can adjust the width a little with the laces. Neat tailored fit on the ankle. Comes in black.
- Akris Punto Wool Moto Jacket: A teal jacket for Team Long Tailored Torso. Check out the pretty back detailing and double zipper.
- Akris Punto Mixed Media Houndstooth Top: An interesting houndstooth for Team Hard Edge. GORGEOUS cut, and quality. Look at the beautiful side seams and rounded vents.
- MAX MARA Reversible Silk Top: Click the link to see the other pattern because the shell top is reversible. Great for Team V-Neck and fab layered under jackets and cardigans.
- Etro Floral & Bust Print Fray Hem Jeans: If I didn't have a similar pair of floral jeans, I'd be trying these. I like the relaxed cut and slight lantern silhouette. The rise isn't too high either.
- Lafayette 148 New York Arnette Jacquard Satin Blouse: A V-neck blouse in a subtle jacquard can come in handy for dressier days.
- PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE Dreaming Leaves Pleated Top: A pleated blouse from the master himself. Fluidly tailored and lovely to the touch.
