I had a little bit of fun with Black Friday sales, as I'm slowly
figuring out what I want in my wardrobe for my mixed work-from-home and work-in-the-office life.

I've come to realize that although skirts and dresses are a mainstay, year round, when I go into the office, I prefer to wear pants at home. And, I need a replacement pair of jeans.

First up, the Everlane Rigid Way-High. I'd been looking for 100% cotton jeans, and thought these would be a fun silhouette to try. Honestly, I really like them, and am close to cutting the tags, unless someone sees a major flaw that I'm missing. They are definitely waist-high, and cover my belly button. It feels different to wear something with zero stretch, but in a good way. What do we think about the length? Should I go slightly shorter?

I also tried the Utility Barrel Pant, and loved almost everything about them- seam details, color, shape. But, with only five minutes of wear, they seemed to bag out in ways that I think might bother me. I'd love to keep them, but am thinking PPP is better, and they should go back. And maybe a similar silhouette in 100% cotton will come out.

Also picked up a couple RL ribbed turtlenecks. These have already become workhorses. And, bonus picture, the Boss navy poncho that's a top pick- fun to wear and I love the drape- with the slim fit RL pants that I copied from Angie. I love how the waistband of the pants fits, and committed to having them altered, since the seat/thighs might bag out a bit more than I want.

Still waiting on a couple items from Athleta- these fill a hole for warmer gear to wear for my second winter of exercising outside. And some clogs came and went (wrong size.)
