The Nordstrom end-of-season sale for Spring & Summer 2019 is here, and there are lots of good Memorial Day discounts. I browsed the offerings, and these are the items that caught my eye. Some of them have worked well on my clients, most have good reviews, and many have a range of colour options.
- Elisio Silk Charmeuse Blouse: A blouse that makes a smashing statement over a simple pair of pants or skirt. No need to jazz things up with a jacket. Gorgeous fabric and drape.
- Mahari Gladiator Sandal: Extremely comfy sandals for regular and slightly wider feet. Comes in metallic.
- Mini Phoebe Leather Bag: Playful Arty Fabness. Available in three colours.
- Pedro Garcia Pedro Garcia Franses Flatform Sandal (Women) | Nordstrom: The Pedro Garcia brand continues to work well on a slightly wider foot. Trendy, chunky, comfy, well made, and comes in many neutrals.
- Louisa Loafer Mule: A cowboy mule for Team Teal. Not for fussy feet.
- 501 Colorblock High Waist Crop Jeans: Super cute two-toned jeans that can work for a curvier and straighter figure.
- 7mm Round Pearl Endless Rope Necklace: Beautifully made organic pearls that look like the real deal. For those who like to pile on the pearl fabness.
- Bouclé Check Jacket: A cropped tweed jacket that's great with blue or white jeans. Best on a straighter figure.
- Marigold Espadrille Slide Sandal: A trendy slide with arch support, and five colours to choose from. Cushioning and stable.
- Collins Double Wrap Leather Strap Watch: A dainty watch with a chunky integrity. Comes in four neutrals.
- Alma Mary Jane Flat: An extra casual Mary Jane with boho flair. Excellent arch support, fits an orthotic, can work on a wider foot, and comes in three colours.
- Fleming Leather Convertible Shoulder Bag: STUNNING dressy wardrobe pet. Yummy colour, timeless silhouette and beautifully made.
- Kamarov Charmuese & Chiffon Dress: This dress has worked on every curvy figure that has tried it on. Elegant, forgiving, comfortable and flattering.
- Eltiee Elegance Blouson Top: A lovely top to wear with white jeans. Dressy, yet relaxed. Works best on broader shoulders.
- Adelaide Leather Clutch: Bubblegum pink is versatile, and works with just about any colour you match it with. The shape of this clutch is quite unique.
- Yssie Fantasia Top: The right type of blouse to wear under a jacket, but looks fab worn on its own. Best on a long neck and smaller bust.
- Lace Up Flat: Comfortable, dainty, well made, and reasonably supportive. Comes in black. Lovely with Summer dresses.
- Billy Shootie: Fryes are fabulous, timeless, comfy, fit well, gorgeous quality, and look as amazing with dresses as they do with jeans and pants. These are winners on clients over and over again.
- Horili Oracle Pleated Top: Boho-Lite Fabness with refinement.
- Low Heel Fringe Loafer: Loafers for Team Purple who enjoy a cushioning footbed. VERY comfy as long as your feet can fill out the silhouette.
- Stripe Blazer: Vince Camuto continues to make smashing blazers for curvier body types. The diagonal stripes on the side panels visually narrow the torso and create an interesting effect.
- Sabrina Ballet Flat: These flats look like they came from COS, and fit an assortment of foot shapes. The back elastic keeps the shoe in place on a narrower heel.
- Kenneth Cole New York Kenneth Cole New York Hooded Parka | Nordstrom: Dramatic, utilitarian, and casually chic. Runs a size big.
- Tweed Fitted Zipper Moto Jacket: A fitted tweed moto that looks fab over jeans, pants and dresses. Crisp enough to wear to the office instead of a blazer.
- Pori Sandal: Sporty on-trend sandals that are extremely comfy, and can work for higher volume feet. Lots of fun colours.
- 14mm Baroque Pearl Necklace: A classic that makes a glam statement every time. Wear them with everything from ball gowns to sneakers.
- Caslon Asymmetrical Peplum Tee: A styled tee that works well on Team Tall & Long Torso. Good on broad shoulders, and looks fab over casual pencil skirts and basic jeans. Breezy and better than basic. Available in six colours.
