These items looked fresh on my shopping rounds last week. It’s fab to see Spanish brand Chie Mihara make a comeback, and that stable block heels are going strong. Hispanita, another Spanish shoe brand, is generally comfortable and well made. I enjoy seeing a larger assortment of the brand at Nordstrom. Topshop leather footwear is moderately comfortable, and always worth a look. Browse through the colour options. I threw in some jackets at the end.
- Chie Mihara Ochal Ruffle Bootie: Beautifully made quality bootie that's casually elegant on the foot. Best on low and regular volume feet. Unique ruffle detail.
- Topshop April Sock Boots: Very soft bootie that is NOT robust. Best on low-volume feet and good on a narrow ankle.
- Jeffrey Campbell Yams Bootie: I haven't seen these in person yet, but they look quite Prada 2017. The sleek silhouette and colour combination is delicious.
- Pour La Victoire Kora Bootie: Refined, elegant and edgy paired with skirts and dresses. Works on a range of foot shapes.
- Hispanitas Micah Oxford Pump: Pretty Tomboy. GORGEOUS oxfords. Very lightweight despite the chunky block heel. Streamlined and elegant on the foot and very comfy. Size up for higher volume feet. I want these to bookend my new brown specs.
- CAMPER Alright Chelsea Boot: Funky and fab. Best on higher volume feet.
- Topshop Mia Ring Bootie: Mod Bootie Fabness. NOT for fussy feet. Good on a narrower ankle. Just looking at these makes me smile.
- Topshop Manuel Architectural Heel Bootie: Lemon Zest Bootie Fabness. Quite soft and can accommodate slightly wide feet. Might need to go up a size.
- Topshop Marilo Block Heel Bootie: Fuchsia Bootie Fabness. Best on low and regular volume feet. Moderately comfy. The front notch detailing creates vertical integrity on the leg.
- Hispanitas Pandora Pump: Extremely comfy heeled loafer that's well made. Much more comfy than the Gucci heeled loafer. All the colours are nice.
- Hispanitas Portia Floral Stretch Velvet Bootie: Fun stretch velvet bootie that feels like slippers IF you can manage the high heel height.
- Hispanitas Connie Block Heel Pump: Covered block heel pumps that work quite well on wider feet. Fab with ankle pants, skirts and dresses.
- White House Black Market Military Topper: Sharp LONG military blazer. A slightly lighter olive in person. Tailored and well made. Might run a size big.
- White House Black Market Plaid Moto Jacket: Great short, tailored jacket to wear over dresses. Best on a smaller bust. Intricate detailing. Unique. Might run a size big.
- White House Black Market Black Asymmetrical Button-Front Jacket: Fitted, casual, cosy and comfortable. Looks best buttoned up. Works on a range of body types. Runs a size big.
