Debuted them today. Barefeet, no extra insole, and ran around town in the darlings. And the heel is a little higher than 1.5 inches. VERY COMFY. LOVE. SOOOO HAPPY.

I wore a Maximal pattern mixed look today. See exact items in Finds. Back of my blouse is striped which brings the total to FOUR patterns in this outfit. Floral oxfords bookend the new specs. Mega score.

Those oxfords are stunning, Angie, and look so pretty on you. I really like them too and am trying to decide if I should return my NAS pewter oxfords and get these instead.

Those shoes look SO much better on your foot than in the photo. I didn't expect to like them, but I do ! Refined and pretty , without being too retro Wish you had posted a full picture though (would love to see that blouse in action) !

Tanya, may I suggest getting the floral oxfords, and doing a show down at home with which work better with your Autumn & Winter outfits. You might prefer the solid with your new non-denim dress code. What do you think?

Those floral oxfords look really nice on you and also look great with the outfit you are showing.
I also ordered the floral oxfords, I went up half a size and they seem good so far. I love to follow/copy your shoe choices, some work for me even though I have high volume feet.
I will be returning the pewter oxfords from NAS because now that the weather is cooling down they are very big and slip out of my feet. I don't really
mind because the floral oxfords seem to be working out.

Joyce, it's AMAZING that we have very different feet, but plenty of the same pairs of shoes. You simply size up, and I sometimes size down. The floral oxfords work beautifully with your hair. HIGH FIVE, floral oxford twin.

unfrumped, I thought the same thing. They feel like a lower heel. Try them.

Thanks Angie. It wasn't obvious. I only have a guitar strap on my actual guitar, which I have hardly played since my mid 20s. It lives under a spare bed. Every 5 years or so I get it out and play and sing "Georgy Girl" by the Seekers

when you say "barefoot", do you mean absolutely bare foot? if so, I'm guessing you experienced no unfortunate rubbing on your bare skin? I LOVE the look!

Jenni, the guitar strap is very obvious when you wear it as a crossbody. Pattern jumps out.

Gah, I love that floral print on the shoes. I am considering trying them. I think they would look pretty cute with straight or skinny black jeans or other dark denim. The boots appeal to me too, but I wonder how comfortable the higher heel is for a lot of walking.

Your outfit sounds great, and even though I am not a big pattern mixer, this dark neutral color scheme is one of my favorites for mixed patterns!

I see why you like the oxfords, Angie. Love the elegant shape, with a somewhat masculine vibe, paired with a floral pattern. Oxfords are some of my favorite early fall footwear and you make me want to try these, especially if they are cushioned. Beautiful outfit.
