My Favourite Eye Make-Up Products

I wear eye make-up daily because I love the visual effect. It makes my eyes look brighter, enhances the shape of my eyes and makes my arched brows look more pronounced. A strong brow line frames the face, and adds high contrast to my low-contrast complexion. I wear specs daily, and since a strong brow line works particularly well with eyewear, I pay close attention to the shape of my brows.

For someone who adores the look of eye make-up and wears it no matter what – I am quite minimal with its application. I also stick to using the same products for a very long time, replenishing them regularly.

I currently use three eye make-up products: mascara, eyeliner, and eyebrow pencil. The exact items are in the collection below.

I use YSL’s Volume Effet Faux Cils’ Mascara in blue because blue mascara makes my green eyes look greener. I tightline the top lids with blue Laura Mercier’s Tightline Cake Eyeliner to match the mascara. I fill in the rest of my brows with brown Anastasia’s Perfect Brow Pencil. I prefer brow pencil above all other brow products because it looks the most natural on my brows. I’m not a fan of brow powder or gel.

I don’t use eyeshadow because I think it’s too much going on with my specs, big eyes and a relatively small face. By the time I put on my bold specs, there is no room for eyeshadow.

And last, I follow the old yet effective make-up guideline of accentuating either your eyes or your lips. Since I wear dark eye make-up, I always wear light lipstick. The fact that hubby Greg doesn’t like me in dark lipstick plays a role too.

Over to you. Do you wear eye make-up daily like I do, and how different is your routine from mine?

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: Skirts, Pants & Jeans

There were some fabulous bottoms at the sale, although they were initially hard to find because the NAS assortment seemed very “top and jacket heavy”. Here’s the final rundown.

Skirts

  • Halogen Ruffle Hem Pencil Skirt: An elegant skirt that's a good length for the office. On-trend and substantial fabric. Works well on a curvier and straighter body type. Beautiful with a tucked top. Chic.
  • Halogen Ponte Pencil Skirt: Sublime knitted tube skirt. Comfy. VERY substantial fabric. Works on most body types because it moulds to the body. Very flattering and slimming. Fitted, but not clingy. Dressy. Everyone who tried it on loved it. Back zipper detail is fab. Runs two sizes big. All the colours are nice.
  • Halogen Pleat Midi Skirt: Crisp architectural pleats that look amazing IF you have a top or jacket that works with the silhouette. Be careful that this skirt is not orphaned. Size down.
  • Vince Camuto Pin Dot Faux Wrap Skirt: An easy and comfortable tube skirt to wear with a looser top. Nice front vent detailing. Runs big. Great for travel.
  • Emerson Rose Plaid Pencil Skirt: A beautifully made graphic skirt for Team Tall. Great texture on the fabric.
  • Halogen Ruffle Hem Knit Skirt: Pretty flouncy skirt that might run a size big. Soft and comfy. Excellent swoosh as you stride. Nice with a shorter top and topper. Can absolutely be worn with dressy flats, and works as well on petites because of the tapered cut.

See the items alongside my descriptions on the collection page.

Pants

  • Halogen Kick Flare Knit Ankle Pants: Every client, across all body types, looked great in these cropped flares. The fit and very substantial fabric are magical because they mould to the body in a flattering way. Ideal for business casual. Not clingy. Forgiving and comfy. Good price. All the colours are nice.
  • Vince Crop Stretch Wool Pants: These work well on a rectangle, inverted triangle and apple-shaped body type. They work less well when you're curvy unless you're prepared to wear them slouchy.
  • Classiques Entier Stretch Flare Leg Suit Pants: Luxe fabric and a good fit on narrower thighs and a wider waist.
  • Boss Tulea3 Plaid Stretch Wool Suit Trousers: A good fit on a relatively curvy body type. Better on straighter figures.
  • NYDJ Stretch Knit Trousers: Excellent fit on a curvy body type with fuller thighs. But they work on narrow thighs and a wider midsection too. They mould to your body type quite magically. Particularly good on petites in a petite size. Extremely comfy. Size down.
  • Halogen Slim Ankle Pants: Great pants on a straighter figure, although they work on fuller hips and thighs if you're wider on the waist. Great graphic pattern.
  • Vince Crop Stretch Knit Trousers: Substantial Ponte pants that look fairly dressy. Size down, and better in the grey. Works on an assortment of body types.
  • NYDJ Stretch Knit Straight Leg Trousers: Excellent fit on a curvy body type and fuller thighs. But they work on narrow thighs and a wider midsection too. They mould to your body type quite magically. Particularly good on petites in a petite size. Extremely comfy. Size down.
  • Vince Camuto Stretch Twill Seamed Pants: Good fit on a curvy and straighter bottom half. The front seam detailing adds a dressy touch. Substantial fabric, and as fab in regular sizes. Size down.
  • Sejour Faux Leather Front Crop Leggings: Fab pair of mixed media super hero leggings to wear with dresses and tunics. Fun ankle zippers.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: Dresses

There weren’t as many fab dresses at this year’s sale, but some great looks nonetheless. Although I complain profusely about the sea of sleeveless dresses at retail, they do have the advantage of being comfortable to wear with toppers (no sleeve bunching). Many clients were happy to go sleeveless as long as we found the RIGHT topper to finish off the look. So I’ve added some great dress toppers at the end, in case you need them. Cardigans, denim jackets, wraps, capes and coats work well over dresses too.

  • Boss Hakordia Belted Sheath Dress: A fab frock that works best on a regular or long torso with a strong shoulder line and defined waist. Wear it as a classic, or layer a shirt/blouse under the dress. Fun over cropped pants, jeans and leggings too. Impeccable quality.
  • Karen Kane Taylor Flare Sleeve A-Line Dress: An amazing dress on most body types. It's elongating, comfortable, and hides lumps and bumps. Excellent drape and good length. Comes in petites. The smallest size will fit a size US2. You are sized out if you wear a size US0.
  • CeCe Floral Scuba Sheath Dress: This dress surprised me because I thought it would be clingy. Yet, it's wonderfully forgiving on midsection extra bits. You don't need to suck in your tummy because it holds you in. Crease-resistant. Fab on a larger bust. Size up a size. Dressy and fun.
  • CeCe Scalloped Hem Shift Dress: Mod Fabness. Gorgeous shade of cranberry. Very fun dainty bow closure at the back. Comfortable. You can have Thanksgiving dinner in this dress. Size down one or two sizes.
  • Lafayette 148 New York Fabiana Dress: Avant-garde dress with clean lines and architectural sleeves. Runs a size big. Works well on an hourglass and rectangular body type. Can work on an inverted triangle and moderate apple shape too. Elegant. Impeccable quality.
  • Halogen Button Back Ruffle Hem Dress: I LOVED this dress over cropped straights or cropped kick flares. Runs at least a size big. There's one in a teal and black pattern if that tickles your fancy. Hem flounce is quite subtle. Super cute. DIFFERENT.
  • Halogen Flounce Back Shift Dress: Avant-Garde School Girl Fabness. It runs very big, is unstructured, and hangs in a straight and architectural manner. But the vertical lines offset the volume in a clever and creative way. Great layered over a long tee, blouse and shirt. Some clients liked it over cropped straights and leggings. Warning: do NOT try this dress unless you're fine with volume.
  • Classiques Entier Leather Trim Italian Ponte Knit Dress: AMAZING dress on an Inverted triangle, rectangle or hourglass. Despite the high neckline, it works well on a larger bust. My size US12 client looked killer in this. Amazing with a moto layered over the top. Sharp.
  • Classiques Entier Pinstripe Stretch Silk Midi Dress: Avant-Garde Fabness. You need to have a longer waist and be fairly tall to make this work so that the waistline hits you in the right spot. It's surprisingly good on a larger bust. LOVE the diagonal stripes. Gorgeous drape and quality. Comfy.
  • Fabiana Filippi Stretch Wool & Cashmere Ruffle Dress: AMAZING dress on a petite who does not mind surrendering their waist. Wear a wrap as a topper, or coat for the holidays. Fab with tall sleek boots or booties. Gorgeous colour. Impeccable quality.
  • Fuzzi Print Tulle Sheath Dress: An INCREDIBLE dress for a narrow body type. Tight but very comfortable. It's clingy, but drapes beautifully. The pattern and embroideries are stunning. Elegant length. Runs one to two sizes small. Impeccable quality
  • Eliza J Jersey Sheath Dress: The colours are fabulous for Fall & Winter. A good length to wear to the office, SLEEVED, and there's plenty of structure. Fitted but not clingy. Good on an hourglass and rectangular body type. Could work on an inverted triangle too. Not good on apple shapes. Comfortable, well made, lined, and machine washable. Works EXTREMELY well on a curvy plus size.
  • Ellen Tracy Pintuck Ponte Sheath Dress: Structured without the cling. SLEEVED. Streamlined and a fab length for the office. V-neck is great on a larger bust or short neck. Lovely colour.
  • KUT from the Kloth Tayanita Faux Suede Jacket: A machine washable suede jacket to wear over sleeveless tops and dresses. Super soft, drapey, and more interesting than a basic cardigan. Comes in handy and looks fab. Runs a size big. Both colours are fab.
  • Kate Spade New York textured tweed jacket: An AMAZING jacket to wear over sleeveless sheath dresses to the office or to a dressier event. It's unlined, lightweight, well made, and has gorgeous hardware. The textured fabric and buttons liven up the black.
  • BLANKNYC Metallic Faux Leather Moto Jacket: Gold Moto Fabness in faux leather. Runs small and works well on petites or a slight frame. Comes in dark olive.
  • Levi's Crop Military Jacket: A military jacket that is best suited to a smaller bust, and looks good worn open. The olive is brighter in person. Cropped, and fab over dresses and skirts. Interchangeable with a denim jacket. Good on petites.
  • Ted Baker London Lizia Leather Biker Jacket: Gorgeous fit and floral lining with unique rose gold hardware. Fitted with amazing fluidity. Statement collar. Impeccable quality. Versatile.
  • BLANKNYC Embroidered Faux Leather Moto Jacket: Super cute faux leather moto with gorgeous embroidery and tonal studs. Runs a size to two small. Very fitted.
  • Sejour Leather Collarless Jacket: A leather jacket that's well suited to a very curvy body type and larger bust. Streamlined and clean. Collar works on a shorter neck. Super soft and well cut. Flattering. Chic.
  • Halogen Asymmetrical Zip Tweed Jacket: A fab fit for a short-waisted, curvy hourglass or pear-shaped body type with a shorter neck. Looks as good zipped up. Lightweight, and can be layered under a coat. Nice shade of navy.
  • Karen Kane Faux Leather Patch Jacket: A well-made topper that drapes likes a dream. Substantial and just structured enough. Comes in black. Comfy.
  • Sejour Quilted Faux Leather Bomber Jacket: SUPER cute streamlined bomber jacket. Works with just about everything, and fits a range of body types. Comes in black.
  • Helene Berman Ribbon Yarn Collarless Jacket: Gorgeous business casual jacket to wear with black or navy trousers or skirts. Fab with jeans too. Looks as good over dresses. Fitted and sharp. Might run a size small. Works on a range of body types.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: Knitwear & Tops

It’s a very blousey season so there was less knitwear this year. There is lots of good knitwear at the sale, but an ever better selection of blouses and shirts. Most clients were after something other than “simple, oversized and shapeless”, which made items with contouring, ruffles, flounces and lace insets very appealing. There are lots of great colours, so browse through the options if the one I’ve selected is not to your fancy.

Knitwear

  • Madewell Ryder Cardigan: Casual slouchy cardi that's super cosy. Nice pocket placement, textured fabric, and can work on petites.
  • Halogen V-Neck Merino Wool Cardigan: Best short cardi at the NAS, (photo does not do it justice). Well made, and all the colours are nice. They work extremely well over sleeveless blouses - like the Vince Camuto Pleat Front Blouse, and are comfortable too. Worked as well on petites as it did on tall clients. It runs smaller than Halogen usually does. Size US12 needs an XL.
  • BP Lightweight Rib Stitch Cardigan: Easy maxi cardigan that works on a range of body types. Too long for petites, and best on taller gals. Lightweight.
  • Lafayette 148 New York Matte Silk Back Cardigan: Luxurious cardigan in a rich shade of ink with a structured silk back. Impeccable quality. Fab for business casual.
  • NYDJ Layered Look Sweater: An easy pull-on-and-go "two-for" that runs at least a size big - if not two. The blue and black were nicer than the burgundy. As good in plus sizes.
  • Eileen Fisher Merino Wool Pullover: One of the best pullovers at the NAS. Yummy shade of forest green, fab back seam detailing, and round hem. Great drape. Worked on a range of body types. Lovely fabric.
  • Treasure&Bond Ruffle Trim Track Jacket: SUPER CUTE and super soft zippered cardigan for narrow shoulders, regular sized busts, and long necks. You have to be okay with the pouf at the crown of the sleeves. This would have been mine if it was blue and not grey.
  • Halogen Long Open Front Cardigan: These casual and easy maxi cardigans are available in a range of colours and were a hit with most clients because it made them feel comfortably streamlined. Slimming. They're lightweight and the pocket drapes the same way in person.
  • Classiques Entier Bell Sleeve Silk & Cashmere Sweater: Silk cashmere feels HEAVENLY against the skin. If you're after a pretty, form-fitting black top that does not overwhelm a slim frame - try this top. Clingy, so not good for muffin top. The sleeves do not get crushed under a roomier coat. Ultra refined, and perfect with pearls. Dress it up or down. Impeccable quality.
  • Vince Long Cashmere Cardigan: A luxurious cocoon cardi to wear over a sheath dress or with bootcut trousers. Best on taller ladies.
  • CeCe Bow Trim Tipped Sweater: A good pullover for skirts. Size down.
  • Lafayette 148 New York Chain Detail Cashmere Cardigan: Stunning cardigan that's part of a fab twinset. Beautifully refined. Works well on a larger bust. It has a very small inset of bling on the neckline that creates extra polish. Structured and not clingy. Luxurious.
  • Lafayette 148 New York Chain Detail Cashmere Shell: Stunning shell top that's part of a fab twinset. Beautifully refined. Works well on a larger bust. It has a very small inset of bling on the neckline that creates extra polish. Structured and not clingy. Luxurious.
  • Vince Cashmere Cold Shoulder Tunic: Alluring and unique. Works on most body types if you don't mind the extra long sleeves. You CAN wear a regular black bra with the pullover. Bonus points for a pretty black bra strap. Runs big.
  • Vince Ribbed Wool & Cashmere Sweater: This does not look good on the model, but it was fabulous on tall clients who could fill out the style. Not good on a short neck.
  • Halogen Halogen Scallop Edge Sweater: GREAT solid top for a smaller bust and/or longer neck. Super soft. Semi-fitted but NOT clingy. The scalloped edges are divine. All the colours are nice. Runs small for Halogen. XL is good on a size US10/12.
  • Trouvé Off the Shoulder Poplin Sweater: Gorgeous on a broader shoulder line and smaller bust. Structured and flattering. Must wear strapless bra.
  • Chelsea28 Tulle Back Sweater: Ruffled party at the back. Fun over a black tank top with black bottoms. Lightweight.
  • Vince Camuto Stripe Bell Sleeve Sweater: Great over white, blue or black jeans. Works well on a pear-shaped body type. Bell sleeves are quite manageable. Size down.
  • Eileen Fisher Asymmetrical Merino Wool Pullover: Avant-Garde Fabness. It was AMAZING on every client who was tall or regular height in both colours. Some of my extra creative clients tried it over short pleated skirts, and it looked sublime. Fabulous on plus sizes. Both colours are great.
  • Halogen Long Ribbed Cashmere Cardigan: Best casual maxi cardigan at the NAS. Very fluid. Does NOT look like a bathrobe. Comes in petites.
  • Halogen Side Tie Cashmere Sweater: Window Pane Fabness. Looked AMAZING over a striped button-down shirt on my size US12/14 client. Runs big.
  • Nic + Zoe Shaded Stripe Drape Front Cardigan: I loved the waist tailoring on this cardigan. Different. Well made and fun colours. It was as fab on petites as it was on tall clients in the correct length. A slam-dunk with black bottoms. Fits under a coat, and can be worn over a sheath dress. The red is punchier than the blue.
  • Sejour Knit Handkerchief Hem Tunic: A sleeveless tunic that looks better in person. Great drape and coverage. Forgiving and structured in the right places. The cowl neck is manageable. Fab layered under a jacket or cardi too. All the colours are nice.
  • Eileen Fisher Seam Front Merino Sweater: Beautiful drape and well cut despite the volume. Fab seaming detail at the back. Lightweight, and flattering neckline.
  • Vince Camuto Tipped Bell Sleeve Top: An on-trend pullover that worked well in plus sizes but not as well in regular where the sleeves were generally too long. Structured but not clingy. Great under a vest, cape or wrap.

See the items alongside my descriptions on the collection page.

Tops

  • Sejour Flare Sleeve Double Layer Top: Very flattering blouse for pear-shaped body types. Works on hourglasses and apple shapes too. Runs big.
  • Sejour Embroidered Bell Sleeve Blouse: Fun blouse to wear for dressier outings. Fab over jeans or over a pencil skirt. Dramatic. Bell sleeves are manageable at the shorter length.
  • Caslon Peplum Blouse: Great shirt for a smaller bust and pear-shaped body type. Peplum lies flat. All the colours are nice.
  • MOON RIVER Lace-Up Bell Sleeve Top: Substantial white boho-lite blouse that does not need a camisole. Textured fabric. Crisp and comfy. Good on a curvy figure. Can work for petites.
  • Vince Camuto Pin Dot V-Neck Top: Great layering piece for a larger bust and/or shorter neck. Soft and comfy. Runs big.
  • Vince Camuto Polka Dot Jabot Blouse: Blouse that looks fab under a jacket. Crease-resistant. Easy to launder. Comes in cream and black. Runs big.
  • Vince Camuto Knit Trim Dot Print Blouse: Fab polka dot layering piece for tall gals. Too long for petites. Love the tipped ribbing trim. Runs big.
  • Vince Camuto Pleat Polka Dot Blouse: Graphic Fabness. Looks good layered under a jacket or cardigan. The pleats on the neckline create extra volume so you have to be okay with that. Runs big. Works on a range of body types.
  • Classiques Entier Bell Sleeve Pinstripe Silk Blouse: I LOVED this blouse, but none of my clients did because they felt it had too many ruffles - I did not! And thought they looked gorgeous. Beautifully made, yummy shade of blue, and impeccable quality. Works on a range of body types. Runs big. The XS is too big for a size US0.
  • Lafayette 148 New York Chiffon Sleeve Punto Milano Top: AMAZING structured fluidity. Very pretty, and camouflages midsection extra bits. Fab back and front V-neck. Impeccable quality.
  • Alice + Olivia Jesse Lace Pullover: Best lace at the sale. Soft, refined, robust and thick. The two-toned effect of the blue and black is sublime. You have to wear a camisole, which showcases your shape and offsets its boxy silhouette. Solid back. Impeccable quality.
  • Halogen Sheer Lace Top: Wear this over a black tank and you are good to go with jeans, black bottoms or a pencil skirt. Not scratchy. Fluid yet adequately structured.
  • Vince Camuto Pleat Front Blouse: Fab blouse to wear under the Halogen V-Neck Merino Wool Cardigan. If you keep the colours the same, you create a lovely twinset effect (like blush on blush). Runs big, and works on a range of body types. The pleats on the neckline create extra volume so you have to be okay with that.
  • Ted Baker London Lolare Bell Sleeve Top: An extremely dramatic dressy top. Sleeves are larger in person. Architectural. GORGEOUS. Best on a narrow shoulder line and smaller bust. Does not work on broad shoulders because it will pull at the shoulders, arms and bust.
  • Halogen Stretch Woven Shirt: A roomy black and white striped shirt that looks great layered under pullovers when you're tall. Runs big.
  • Caslon Plaid & Floral Tunic Shirt: Easy creased tunic with floral insets. Casual and interesting. Party at the back. Runs big.
  • Veronica Beard Canteen Puff Sleeve Blouse: This shirt is a work of art. There are all sorts of insets and seams that you can't see in the photo that are sublime. The sleeves are architectural. The model is wearing a size too big, since it's more fitted in person. You have to be okay with the puffy sleeves. It has worked on both straight and curvy clients, AND on a larger bust. Fun back tailoring. Impeccable quality.
  • Equipment Carmine Cotton Tunic: Fun striped tunic with back pleat detailing. Hangs straight and looks crisp. Good over skinnies. Sharp.
  • Gibson Cold Shoulder Sweatshirt: A cold shoulder tee that works with a regular bra. All the colours are nice. Forgiving on the midsection. Might run a size big.
  • Sejour V-Neck Tee: A great basic wardrobe essential to layer with, or simply wear as is. Structured but not clingy. Streamlined. Works well on curvy figures.
  • Vince Camuto Stripe Mixed Media Turtleneck: Super cute back peplum detailing. Super soft fabric. Fab with a short jacket or cardigan. Not good on a short neck. Great on tall gals, but works quite well on petites. Runs big.
  • Halogen Long Sleeve Knit Tunic: Good basic wardrobe essential for a larger bust. Excellent modest neckline for boobs that need room. Super soft, and can work on taller gals. Curved hem creates nice lines on the body. Stripe looks best.
  • Two by Vince Camuto Subtle Camo Tee: A fun tee that drapes better in person. It has a staggered hemline that you can't see in the photo, and looks best worn out. Works as well for an apple shape as it does for a pear shape. Amazing.
  • Rag & Bone / Jean Double Vee Long Sleeve Tee: A swingy voluminous tee to wear with black jeans. Very soft. Excellent drape with just enough structure. Might run a size big. V-neck does not hang too low, although I'd love to see a black lace camisole peaking out.
  • J.Crew Pardon My French Graphic Tee: Nice layering tee to wear with blazers and pencils skirts. Runs small.
  • SINCERELY JULES Side-Lace Sweatshirt: Best sweatshirt at the NAS. Substantial and well made. I love how it has structure AND fluidity. The side lace detailing is fabulous. Runs small. US10/12 fits an XL. I liked the pink best but all the colours are nice.
  • Caslon Zip Back Pullover: Cosy Lounging Fabness. The back zipper is covered so it doesn't feel cold against the skin. Burgundy is best.
  • Caslon Woven Inset Knit Hoodie: The ruffled back peplum is adorable. Extremely soft fabric and good fit. Feels heavenly on the body. Pretty.
  • BP Crushed Velour Tee: '70s Funky Fabness. Comes in navy, rose and silver. The staggered hemline is fun, and so are the longer short sleeves. Boxy cut and quite luscious. Good to layer with too.
  • Eileen Fisher Jersey V-Neck Tunic: A comfortable streamlined tunic for Team Tall. Well made and substantial fabric. The placement of the V-neckline is fabulous. Not too low. Nice to layer with too.
  • Sejour Pleat Shell: A dressier shell top with permenant peplum pleating makes me smile. Playful elegance, and non-crease. Creates a fun textural effect under jackets. Comes in black.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: Footwear & Accessories

Footwear

Dressy shoes and designer shoes were generally disappointing at this year’s NAS, for the second year in a row. When dressy shoes were ultra gorgeous, the heels were sky high. The more affordably priced casual and smart casual footwear was great. Lots of comfy styles that can effectively refresh your style. Many offered across a range of colours and widths.

  • Vince Camuto Prasata Bootie: A great bootie for very mild weather. Feels like a slipper. Soft and cushioning. Best with bare feet, knee-highs, or trouser socks. All the colours are fab.
  • Cole Haan Lyla Waterproof Bootie: A beautifully made bootie with a streamlined ankle. Crisp and extra polished in the black. It runs a little small so size up. The ankle fit is narrower. The ankle openings cut into my own shins, but clients were comfortable in the style.
  • Paul Green Logan Bootie: AMAZINGLY comfortable casual booties that mould to both a higher and lower volume foot. The grey is lighter and richer in person. I love the light sole and white stitching on the grey and camel. All the colours are nice.
  • Kork-Ease Mindo Chelsea Bootie: A very comfy bootie for wider feet with a regular height instep because you have to pull on the boot - no zipper. Might run half a size big.
  • Munro Alfie Bootie: The ankle ruching is an adorable detail, and streamlines the fit on the leg. Extremely comfy. Higher volume feet should order a wide size. Fab with dresses and skirts.
  • SOREL Danica Waterproof Bootie: Cute and comfy weatherproof booties for low-volume feet and narrow ankles only.
  • Munro Cerise Smoking Slipper Loafer: Tuxedo Slipper Fabness. Very comfortable, and available in wide sizes. Comes in solid black. Super cute and on trend.
  • Dansko Louella Oxford: AMAZING low-heeled oxfords. Very well made, excellent arch support and very comfortable. Works on both low and high-volume feet. Comes in black.
  • Aquatalia by Marvin K Genna Weatherproof Tall Boot: THE casual tall boot for narrow calves, but will only work on petites if you have relatively long legs. The pointy toe is an on-trend update on the classic riding boot style. SUBLIME comfort if your foot is not too wide. Made in Italy and impeccable quality. Weatherproof. Equestrian Chic.
  • Earthies 'Essen' Ghillie Flat: Cutest casual flats at the NAS. Unique. Extremely comfortable, with excellent arch support. Can work for low and higher volume feet. Size up for wide feet. All the colours are nice.
  • Ecco 'Soft 7' Sneaker: Glitzy Casual. Magically comfy sneakers for regular and higher volume feet. The pewter has fun olive laces. The black looks like a Chanel sneaker, and the blush is as pretty as can be.
  • AGL Cap Toe Flat: Deluxe Pretty Flat Fabness. The metallic leather is sublimely subtle and cool-toned. Fab comfort when you don't need a lot of arch support. Works well on bunions.
  • Louise Et Cie Fenn Lace-Up Oxford: Polished & Tailored Androgynous Fabness. Amazing textured leather, and very comfortable. Has worked well on both higher and lower volume feet. Sharp.
  • Dolce Vita Marra Double Zip Bootie: I found these uncomfortable because the leather isn't soft, but clients with hardier feet loved them in the cream and silver. Size up half a size for wider feet.
  • Rebecca Minkoff Annette Ankle Boot: The shootie comes in black, blush and camel, all of which are fab. Personally, I like the blush and camel best because they look softer than the black. Fits low to regular volume feet. Good for a higher instep. Get a scarf to complement the pink.
  • PIKOLINOS 'Maple' Wedge Bootie: Fab casual wedge bootie for higher volume feet. Well made. Comfy and stable.
  • SARTO By Franco Sarto Johanna Loafer: Dressy Loafer Fabness. Fun iridescent velvet loafers with tonal hardware. Comfortable. Runs half a size big. Comes in solid patent which is perfect for biz casual. Versatile.
  • Aquatalia Tisha Weatherproof Bootie: A beautifully made heeled casual bootie that's 100% weatherproof. Fits a lower volume foot and narrow ankle best. The taupe is less warm in person.
  • Børn Karava Bootie: The leather on these boots is sublimely soft. WOW. Very comfy and fits higher volume feet. Nice arch support. All the colours are fab.
  • Cole Haan Grandpro Tennis Shoe: Bright purple velvet sneakers that are EXTREMELY lightweight. Comfy.
  • Blondo Riyan Waterproof Sneaker: Good WATERPROOF sneaker for high-volume feet. Lots of room in the toe box. All the colours are fun.
  • Aquatalia by Marvin K Franca Weatherproof Bootie: Fabulous on the foot, weatherproof, and all the colours are nice. Very streamlined. Nice heel shape, and looks quite dressy. The fit is tricky. The foot portion is very comfortable if you have low and regular volume feet, but the ankle opening can cut into your shin. Some clients did not have that problem. It's a gamble.
  • Cole Haan Lacey Ankle Strap Wedge Pump: A comfy wedge if you can manage the heel height. Works on regular volume feet, but not good for high insteps or wider ankles. All the colours are nice. Pretty.
  • Adidas Superstar Slip-On Sneaker: Super cute sneakers for high-volume feet.
