Here’s a selection of skirts that have been winners on some of my clients, or simply have good reviews online. With mini skirts and knee-length skirts back as a mainstream trend, I’m relieved to see that midi and midaxi lengths are still widely available. As someone who wears knee-covering skirts, I’d be disappointed to see them disappear. I hope they don’t.
This assortment ranges from form-fitting and A-line silhouettes to flared looks with movement. Price points vary, and some items are on sale. Some skirts can be worn across the seasons when its support act is adjusted. Notably, the Karen Kane and Boden bias-cut skirts have a great roomy fit. Boden Ponte and pleated skirts are exceptional quality. Chaus polyester knitted skirts are exceptional value. And skirts with matching tops in exactly the same pattern are on-trend because matchy-matchy sets are big.
