End-of-season sales are upon us in the US, and there are few sale days as big as Black Friday. I browsed Nordstrom’s offerings, and these are the items that caught my eye. Some of them have been winners on my clients. All items have rave reviews.
- NVLT Faux Fur Collar Plaid Long Coat: This coat is quite the maximal showstopper, and I've looked at it for myself several times. The faux fur collar is removable. Excellent versatile maxi length. Streamlined but with fluidity.
- Via Spiga Brilee Buckle Loafer: I wish the loafer came in white with a gold buckle! It comes in grey suede too. Well made, trendy, and runs a little narrow. SHARP.
- Gallery Water Repellent Hooded Raincoat: Fabulous trapeze raincoat that comes in neutrals. Check out the fun back detailing. Well made and runs big, which is fab for topping off chunky layers.
- Givenchy Studded Ankle Boot: A refined hard-edged red rocker boot if ever there was one. Runs a little narrow and is maximal on the foot.
- Vince Camuto Animal Stripe Batwing Sleeve Top: Very pretty blouse that comes in burgundy. Best on those who can fill it out in the bust and shoulders. Forgiving on the midsection. Runs a size big.
- Barbour Element Waterproof Hooded Jacket: White Waterproof Raincoat Fabness. Beautifully made, although a little stiff. Chic and crisp.
- MONICA VINADER Alta Capture Earrings: Dainty yet chunky and interesting earrings that look like the links of a chain. Comes in rose gold.
- KIYONNA Mon Cheri Lace Cocktail Dress: GORGEOUS modern classic cocktail dress. Best on a small and regular size bust because of the empire cut line under the bust. Covered yet alluring, and awfully pretty.
- Tory Burch Perry Nylon Crossbody Bag: Sporty Casual Crossbody Fabness. Impeccable and extremely well made. Nice size and not too bulky.
- Rag & Bone Elliott Sling Leather Bag: This looks like a belt bag that's slung across the body like a backpack. Interesting and fun if you don't carry a lot in your bag. Comes in black and grey.
- L'Amour Des Pieds Dionisa Sandal: If you're after a very comfy hard-edged black sandal that can work with bunions, try this one.
- Tory Burch Small Robinson Croc Embossed Leather Bucket Bag: Impeccable quality bag for those who like relatively small structured satchels. It has many inside pockets with zippers. The top does not have a zipper, so fine in a dry climate. Comfy broad convertible crossbody strap too.
- SCOTCH & SODA Printed Ruffle Maxi Skirt: Pretty yet slightly tough '90s inspired prairie skirt that looks good with most styles of boots. Fun in motion. Cute topped with a welted pullover and coat or jacket.
- Polo Ralph Lauren Kirra Tartan Wool Blend Blazer: Modern Classic Wool Blazer Fabness. Best on a regular width shoulder and smaller bust. Fab with the mismatched plaid bottoms.
- KELLY WYNNE Mingle Mingle Mini Embossed Leather Crossbody Bag: These bags are lovely dressy clutch substitutes with a dainty yet glitzy chain-adorned strap. Great with jeans too. Versatile and practical. Comes in several light neutrals.
- Adidas Originals Two-Tone Satin Bomber Track Jacket: Sporty Bomber Fabness for Team Adidas.
- Cole Haan Havana Bootie: These boots would be mine if the ankle openings weren't as wide. Not great on narrow ankles. Casually dressy, comfy, and well made. Comes in cognac suede. Crisp and modern.
- Rag & Bone Atlas Concept Leather Shoulder Bag: This cement-coloured darling converts to a shoulder or crossbody bag with a fab guitar strap. Comes in neon green.
- Frye Sacha Moto Short Bootie: Fryes are forever fabulous, and these are no exception. Beautifully made, robust, and fab on the foot if the fit is right. Works on an assortmemt of foot shapes.
- Madewell Brockton Bobble Sweater: This textured bobble pullover is more fun than I thought it would be. Roomy, trendy, and comes in lilac too.
- Madewell Leopard Genuine Calf Hair Medium Transport Tote: A tote in an interesting earth-toned animal print. It's small and lies quite flat against the body.
- Merrell Range AC+ Sneaker: I like this colour combination. Easy slip-on style if your feet can fill out the shoe.
- DANSE LENTE Mini Phoebe Leather Crossbody Bag: Add an artistic and architectural piece to your outfit like a Danse Lente bag. Beautifully made.
- Tory Burch Kira Chevron Leather Crossbody Bag: A Chanel-esque bag at a fraction of the price and as beautifully made. Comes in red.
