Thank you so much! Boy, is it ever nice to come home to kind compliments. I read a lot of dark poems tonight! (With reason...my poetry friends are going through tough times...)
Marcy, this is the XS. I decided I would rather have it oversized than too small. I am bigger than YLF mythology portrays me, I think! Hardly an Amazon, but not a true petite, either. Anyway, this size seems to work, and thank you for the inspiration!
Joy, I think you should come to our poetry group with that beautiful turn for language! And thank you.
Aubergine, you would look great in this red!
And thanks, Ms. KK.
Una, I hear you about the colour combo feeling "Maine" like. I agree. Maybe that's why I like it. I spent a lot of childhood summers in Maine.
Shedev, I am glad we are agreed on the neutrality of tartan. Now we can both proceed to wear it whenever and with whatever we like!
Alana, don't give up yet. The season is young. And you often see red in the stores closer to the holidays, too.
Tracy, I think you are right about the scarf. Normally I like to leave them off but this time it did add something.
Aida, thank you, and if you are still wearing your Reports, I can breathe a sigh of relief and continue to wear mine. They really are sort of shockingly comfortable! And thanks for your kind words. Yay for the taupe love.
Jackie, high five!
Unfrumped, thank you. Glad you think the booties are okay.
Karie, thanks -- the sweater does not itch but then I am not wearing it right against my skin. I don't think it will be itchy because it's double knit.
