If this looks like blast from the past, you're right.

While searching for my previous WIWs to link to avettestingray's thread for ideas, I realised I never did my usual round-up post of the two challenges I did earlier this year. For my blog and future reference, here is the belated round-up #1, my outfits with the chambray shirt.

I initially asked for ideas to style the shirt on this thread.

Now, 8 months later (outfits 1-6) and 4 months later (outfit 7), I feel like I’m looking at someone else, not myself. Soooo much room for improvement and/or changes. The shift that's happened in my head and WIWs is so apparent when I look at what I wore not so long ago.

I actually had two identical shirts to begin with (sale bargains form many years ago) and have altered one of them for closer fit. Just a few months ago all that roominess did not feel good. The second shirt remained intact - and guess which gets more wear now.
