And here is the last of the top picks lists, which is usually the favourite. There was lots of great footwear for my clients this year across all dress codes and life styles. Comfort levels will vary, and remember to look through all the colour options.
- BP. Darbie Boot: Comfortable and just over the knee. Casual and streamlined.
- Paul Green Romeo Bootie: Beautifully made and very comfortable. Quite tailored for a rugged bootie.
- Stuart Weitzman Laidback Pump: Perfectly comfy and versatile for workdays that require lots of standing.
- Sam Edelman Pippen Bootie: Super comfy and I vote olive or cognac.
- Sam Edelman Perron Boot: Quite comfy and excellent on a tall lass with a wide calf.
- Naturalizer Juletta Tall Riding Boot: A classic that stretches over a 15 inch calf. Also available in cognac.
- Aquatalia by Marvin K Ora Boot: Beautifully made, Chanel-esque, very comfy and puddle proof. You might need to size up.
- Donald Pliner Tillie Bootie: Super trendy, elegant and sleek. Must size up because the toebox is snug. Surprisingly comfy! I vote bronze all the way, but it’s also available in black.
- Stuart Weitzman Suitable Oxford: Refined, fashionable and comfortable. If they weren’t black, they would be mine.
- Stuart Weitzman Chap Loafer: Stunning quality and so very pretty. Comfier than the oxfords. They would also be mine if they weren’t so dark.
- Hinge Addison Bootie: If you don’t have fussy feet, try these. The shape is very flattering and the tapestry texture awfully fun.
- Joan & David Renton Boot: Soft and comfy. The ladylike bootie to wear with skirts and dresses.
- Munro Robyn Bootie: An absolute winner! Perfect low stable heel, very comfortable, and the front V-shape is flattering on the leg line when worn with skirts, dresses or rolled boyfriend jeans. Available in wide widths, and might run a touch small. Also available in burgundy, black, brown and animal print.
- Frye Veronica Back Zip Short Boot: A biker classic. I preferred the cognac to the black.
- Børn Zelia Boot: My favourite casual boot on sale. The lining rolls down, and it’s so very comfortable. There is no fast way to zip in and out of the boot, but that’s not a train smash. Once it’s on, you shan’t be sorry. I love it worn untied at the laces with the ends of the laces tucked away and a hint of patterned tongue peeking through. If I needed another pair of casual boots, these would be it. Also available in black and brown.
- Clarks Rosepoint Dew Bootie: This is for Mum on the Go in heels. Comfy and streamlined. Also in navy.
- Via Spiga Basil Bootie: Simple, casual chic.
- Steve Madden Brewzzer Boot: A fab rugged boot.
- Vince Camuto Vive Bootie: Dressy and streamlined. I didn’t find these comfortable, but quite a few of my clients did. Available in burgundy and animal print.
- Miz Mooz West Boot: An excellent tall wedge boot. Super comfy and smart casual.
- Vince Camuto Magie Wedge: A high heel, but the rest of the shoe is soft and cushioning.
- Blondo Boot: A sale staple that is waterproof and sleek on the leg. The magical weave stretches and contracts to fit a range of calf widths.
- L.K. Bennett Doris Bootie: Stunning in teal if you can manage the heel height.
- Joe’s Saki Boot: Casual and very comfy. I like the snip toe.
- Vince Camuto Desti Pump: Great value and pretty comfy. I vote navy suede.
- Stuart Weitzman Setaside Boot: I can’t rave enough about the comfort level of these boots. Well made and very streamlined. They are also available in black suede and tan. They would be a 12 hour walking shoe for me so I pounced on the tan straightaway. Alas, they run big and I am in between sizes. The tan was also a little too earthy for my wardrobe. So size down, and I hope to enjoy them vicariously through you.
This is the first Anniversary sale where I didn’t score with footwear. Oh well! There’s always next year. I had an extremely good sale and love my pieces to bits. I’ll be able to wear some of the items right away, which is always fun. Feel free to ask further questions about the items in the comments section.
