Hi, all. I've been doing nothing but lurk for a long time. I'm just finishing the Master's portion of my PhD studies (graduation tomorro), and we had our third child - sweet baby Bernadette, at the end of March. Not much free time at present.

These pictures are from baby's baptismal day (Easter). I hope they show up properly - haven't tried this feature in a while.

1. My parents, uncle, children, and I. Baby had had enough at this point and was protesting strongly! My husband was talking with guests and missed the photoshoot.

2. My outfit. I had great luck ordering this dress from the UK-based Seraphine. I tried several lovely dresses but settled on this blush one as it fit best and I had little time for returns (the baptism was two weeks after baby's birth, and I was shopping online during that short time.) This is a nursing-friendly style - amazing! I hope to order another dress or two from them once my weight stabilizes. The necklace is from JCrew, the bracelet a wedding gift from my mother, and the heels are Banana Republic. Please give suggestions for tweaking this outfit as I'll likely repeat for graduation tomorrow (under my cap and gown, of course).

3. Her gown (godfather edited out as I'm sure he wouldn't like to be featured on YLF) was handknit by me. I'll have to try to get a better picture of her in it before she gets too big. The gown was her big brother's first - no time to knit a new one this school year!

Thanks for reading. I'm hoping to do a but more than lurk over the summer months. I have some serious wardrobe re-imagining to do now that I'm out of maternity styles.

Becky
