I've had this outfit in mind since I saw Angie's post on a shorts and boho blouse ensemble. Today I decided to wear it with my new black strappy sandals (debated here). (I wore them yesterday to work, and they passed the all-day comfort test!) I thought since there is some black in this blouse, and I prefer wearing this outfit with my black and brown studded belt (rather than pewter, gray, or other light belts I've tried with it), perhaps the black sandals would work. I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to go out of the house in this outfit today, but if I do, I'll probably be wearing the new sandals. Another option is the silver flats in the last photo.
The outfit: Blue chino shorts (Loft); blue and multi-colored paisley print silk short-sleeved peasant-like blouse (made by me); black and brown studded jeans belt (Suzi Roher); black strappy sandals (Eileen Fisher, Eva); black cross-body bag (Rebecca Minkoff). Alternate shoes: silver d'Orsay flats (Walk, Franky).
Thanks for looking! I appreciate any thoughts or suggestions you wish to offer.
