I just picked up Anna Harvey’s book entitled “ Timeless Style” ( I will let you know what I think when I am done- too early to tell)
As I am reading the introduction I am hearing my mother’s voice ...... “what’s the matter with this new generation? You don’t wear white except between Memorial Day and Labor Day. At least wait for Easter for goodness sakes” ( for non- US Friends that’s last week of May through first week of September). Then I am hearing my daughter’s voice ....”Ya know Mom, your generation does not have to follow what Grams’ generation did- like that whole when to wear white garbage - rules are meant to be broken “
LOL
So Anna Harvey suggests “........if you are not tied by fashion, you can look at all your self imposed rules and start a new stylish life”.

One big societal rule is the “ if you wore it the first time around, avoid it the next time”: But Angie hit this one out of the park with this week’s post on wrap tops! Yay and thanks Angie!

So I ask:
Do you have any self imposed rules on how you dress?
What are they and are they keepers or are you ready to break them?

Do you still follow some of the societal rules or generation of the past?
What are they and are they keepers or are you ready to break them?
