Thanks everyone!
Vix, yes. I was thinking on the whole shopping experience last night and, although it was different, overall I felt reassured that people weren’t acting like it is back to business as usual. Everybody has to play their part in keeping on top of this. And great to hear from you!
JAileen, my camisoles have holes from wear in them! I’m giving my husband a run for his money - he wears his clothes until they are literally in tatters.
Anchie, we are in phase 2 of a 3 step opening process. No gyms or cinemas yet. And I suspect no crowd events for a long time.
Lisa, thank you. I’m feeling increasingly comfortable with DYOT. Nothing trendy came home with me, although I am stocking up on the earthy colours that are big at retail now.
CG, I hope you are OK, I know things are bad there. Good to hear from you.
Suz, we do still have the occasional community transmission case (although most cases are returned travellers) but our tracing and isolating measures are good. I think we will get used to the new normal for shopping. The supermarket thing seems entirely normal to me now. Although I still experience a pleasant surprise when I see TP on the shelves! I’m glad to hear your province is doing well.
KG, thanks! You know I like my florals ...
Sally and Nemosmom, thanks! I’m focused on buying essentials. I stuck with that ... mostly. There was one somewhat non-essential purchase. I will fess up later.
Angie, thanks. It will be great to hear the retail experience from an insider perspective.
