Slim cat and Synne, thanks. I do go a bit matchy matchy with jewellery, buttons and bag hardware sometimes. Unfortunately that makes it hard to be a wardrobe minimalist!

Rachy and Joy, I felt able to look at things and I was able to try things on. I find it surprising that items would have to be sanitized between try ons. They don’t seem to be doing that here. I was careful to use the hand sanitizer on entering each store and I tried not to touch items just for the sake of it (I usually enjoy the tactile sensation of feeling clothing items).

Anne, WA is doing so well! People are gradually returning to the office here too. But they are encouraging staggered start times to ease the squeeze on transport. It’s going to be an issue.

Classically Casual, it’s certainly makes one value the small joys in life, doesn’t it? I’m looking forward to a trip to the beautician. My eyebrows need work!

Bijou, those boots are awesome! I got a jumper from Cue - so it’s fine for casual wear. I do think they will be feeling the pinch because they are very work wear focused. I wonder if they will “pivot” now.

RC, I really feel for all the businesses that are affected. We’ve found here that even general medical practices are struggling because people are putting off regular check ups. Hopefully that will improve as people regain confidence about going out.

Thanks Shevia! Yes, let’s not go there! And I must mention to you that my teal cocktail ring came from an Etsy seller in Israel (pre-pandemic). Love Etsy.

Brooklyn, I love your matching mask, cocktail ring and bag. Such a great colour for you. That is such a fantastic jacket. I am glad to hear Oz is doing so well.

What a great outfit, as always, Brooklyn. Confession: I didn’t realize you lived in Australia, thought you lived in Brooklyn (lol at myself). Sounds like a pretty safe environment, and glad you were able to get out!
