These were my favourite outfits of 2015! I struggled this year, but assembling this retrospective is helpful. Need to figure out the common denominators for high happiness factor outfits...
Love this tradition. Such great and unique outfits is this thread already.
This was a great year for me, lots of hard work that really turn the tide in my life.
Fashion wise there was also a shift and I feel very comfortable with myself.
Most of the outfit pictures I have are from summer but here are my favorites.
Hope everyone has a great 2016.
Everybody has been looking so fabulous. 2015 was a very difficult year for me, so my posting has been haphazard - on some months and off some other ones. I have been most active in the spring/early summer part, so most of my outfits are from that time. The final three photos are brand new - never posted to YLF: first one is a bridesmaid outfit at the wedding of my closest friend this summer, and the last two are festive plaid outfits from this holiday season.
You were a killer beautiful bridesmaid, Tanya. I'm going with #1, 3, 7 and 15 as my faves. Just. So. Gorgeous. The best plaid outfits of them all! You have an enviable wardrobe.
ETA: I just read your comment on my post. Go Team Pretty & Tailored. I'm loving it. High five, style sister.
I'd like to participate in this fun thread! Going through my posts over the past year, I realized I really didn't take very many outfit pics at all. But it was interesting to go back and reread my thoughts and the comments of others - and here are the ones I really liked. I wore a whole lot more than what was represented here, but of the pictures I posted, these are outfits I enjoyed wearing.Duplicates are just where a jacket or coat was worn over something else.
I look forward to going back over everyone else's faves above, and contributing thoughts where I can! Duplicates are just where a jacket or coat was worn over something else.
One of my goals for 2016 is to take more full body outfit photos and share them here for feedback! I'm not very good at mirror selfies. I need to either get my husband to take some for me or get a tripod. But here are a few good ones!
#1: WIW Christmas eve to a midnight service in Atlanta. I felt very festive and was thrilled to debut my gold, short sleeved sweater (perfect for the warmer winter we're having in the South).
#2: A mixed neutrals outfit, which would have been too far outside my comfort zone a year ago but now feels just right. The scarf is my Holy Grail accessory because it goes with EVERYTHING.
#3: My favorite blouse under a soft, asymmetrical motor jacket, which I wore to my mom's studio piano recital. I believe I had black skinny jeans and black studded flats on the bottom half.
#4: WIW to a summer wedding. It was semi-casual so I had a hard time deciding what to wear and ultimately I went with an orange maxi skirt and bright floral top. It was about the level of dress of most guests, so I felt good about it.
Kaelyn, great that you posted too. I'm going with #2 because it was outside your comfort zone - and now it feels dead right. SEE!!! We have to step outside of our comfort zones and purchase wild cards. Cute hat.
Wonderful thread:) Everyone looks SO good. I have so enjoyed my wardrobe this year:) Looking back on my photos this year there were only a few that made me cringe lol. Here are a handful of outfits that really made me happy x
I always love this thread too! Everyone looks so fabulous! I was terrible about taking WIW pics this year and even worse about uploading them to the computer. Of the ones I have, I'm attaching my faves.
