Janet, I'm going with #2, 5 and 6. You OWN the poncho vibe, and look your best in a statement jacket worn with jeans. I bet that feels best too. #16 is next though. Alluring Chic.

Debora, I'm going with #5 because you had me with the ankle straps. #7 is a close second. Toffee is great on you.

How inspiring and exciting to see all these!

Thanks, Angie. This was a whole lot of fun! And eye-opening, too. I'm finding my footing, style-wise, but I see I need to expand my palette. Time for me to focus on spring/summer, add more pale neutrals.

Cerinda, I'm going with #10 because I love shade of mink with your hair. #1 is next - great merlot accents.

Such an inspiring thread! I haven't had time to participate much at all this year, so it's great to see everyone all in one place. I'm doing my annual New Year's wardrobe purge and reorganization, and this thread is giving me lots of ideas and motivation.

Happy 2016 to everyone!

Happy New Year YLF! Great to see everyone killing it, as usual.

As you may have guessed, I'm a bit behind on the forum after enjoying some downtime over the holidays, but better late than never. To add to the fun, here are a few of my favourites.

Angie, thanks so much for featuring our shopping day in your roundup of the year, and sorry for missing it when you posted. It was such a pleasure to meet you, Greg and Inge, and definitely a highlight for me too!

Sorry I'm so late with this. The holidays were super busy and my ancient home desktop computer is dying. I've been using my phone to check the forum but isn't not the most convenient mechanism for posting comments/photos so I've been reading more than commenting.

I've have really enjoyed this post and have checked back multiple times since it was first started to look at everyone's contributions. Such great outfits and also quite interesting to see what was a favorite with the poster.

I had a hard time with this which is a good thing since it means I liked most of my 2015 outfits. I decided to pick one from each month with a couple extras thrown in.

What a fun post! I didn't take many outfit photos over the year, and I posted even less of them. But because I want to play too, I am posting the few I could find and calling them my favorites

It's great that you read about yourself in the highlights post of YLF, Liz. I was going to PM you to make sure you didn't miss it! I'm going with #1 as my fave. Simple Trendy Modern Classic. #3 is next because it's ladylike and dressy. Where is your '80s outfit!?

Sara, I hope you get a new laptop soon. I'm going with #4 because it's extra elegantly trendy. #5 is next, which includes Domino.

Susie, your pics are small and I can't see the rest of the outfit l. Can you post them un-cropped, perhaps?

Trying again.....different pictures I think. I am posting from the office and don't have many photos saved here.

YES. Much better, Susie. I'm going with #9 as my fave. Amazing bookending of footwear and hair, and you in that frock puts a smile on my face. #4 and #5 are close seconds though. Killer Super Hero red boots. Who are they by?

You are so kind, Angie, thank you. I love dresses for summer but they aren't easy to find. This one was an end of season whim and I got a couple of wearings in while it was still warm.

I've had the red boots for several years but they don't get a lot of wear. I think they are Pour la Victoire. I love that you called them super hero boots...now they might get more wears

This thread is a treasure-trove of inspiration ... I think I will commit to taking more outfit photos this year as this seems like a great exercise for year-end! Thx all

Last year, I fully intended to post WAY more than I actually did. When I went through my photo folder, I only had THREE outfits! I sifted through my phone and found all the rest. Bad me, they never made it online. I'll be better this year!

The year started out good, and I soon found myself in a walking boot for 6 weeks (I'm so non-compliant!), I wore lots of dresses and tennis shoes before I realized I could actually wear a pump and walk without a limp. I bought a very sexy dress for a graduation party (boom boom pow!), wore a one piece jumpsuit, of all things (#7), gave up the synthetic fabrics for summer and jumped into linen tops (#8), and discovered I like a peplum, just in time. It's one of my favorite tops now! I also found the perfect blanket poncho this fall, and am still working on bringing moto boots into my office look :).

Thanks for being an amazing cheerleader, TG. I want to see your outfits here at the end of the year.

Von, I'm going with #12. You look amazing in that poncho and I love the tote. Great colour palette for your complexion.

Von! Let's hear it for Team Das Boot! LOL

Completely and totally late to this party, but I did want to join in, if for no other reason than it forced me to take stock, and possible do some more in depth thinking. I found this quite hard... so rather than analyse it to death, I'm just going to post (too many) some of my outfits that my gut says "if I saw this person walking down the street, I'd give her outfit a second look".

Elizabeth, I'm going with #2 and #14. You had me with all the white.
