I just happened to wear earth tones yesterday so thought I would pop it up. Generally I think I look better in cooler more saturated colors. But nothing ventured...and the top brings in the grey of my hair. What do you think, should I stick with cool brights?

I like earth tone on you, gorgeous top. The whole palette is perfect and you can wear earth tone absolutely. Perfect as usual.

This reminds me of "my" earth tones -- a sort of soft taupey textured jacket (consignment) that I've just decided to let go of after three years (back to consignment so someone else can enjoy).

These soft earthy colors look wonderful on you, as much as cool brights. They do not wash you out but show off the color of your hair and skin. Wear them with confidence.

I really like it! Maybe these are more neutral than cool or warm. I don’t see a lot of yellow in them for example.

Jaime, I think you rock earth tones. They flatter you in a very different way than the cool brights do, giving you the luxury of being able to switch palettes with great ease depending on the vibe you want.

Wow, thank you all! I do enjoy having my presumptions challenged by the forum! Suz this is an M Missoni silk t I bought at a second hand store years ago - and kept it because it was a big hit when I first showed it to YLF. Lana, yes, you may be right, these may be more neutral as is my skin - I think. CarolS - I wonder if that does mean I am neutral. I appreciate all of your comments, thank you!

As others have noted these colours look great with your skin tone, I think that the scoop neck cut of that gorgeous blouse is perfect for you.

kkards- I am actually a very reserved and introverted person - I like my clothes to do the talking for me. Or maybe I like how they juxtapose with my personality .
