I tried a pair of bronze coated jeans on impulse, expecting them not to work out. I haven’t had much success with straight leg jeans. They usually fit me like skinnies.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I like them. The fit is very relaxed. (I did size up.) They come in several lengths, and I took the longest. I like uber long pants and jeans but they are hard to find. They are 100% cotton and initially felt quite firm around my hips and waist. I would prefer a little stretch but they have loosened up with wear.

I decided to keep them. They are pretty unique and I like to collect unique items.

I wore this outfit to lunch with my mum to celebrate recovering from Covid. Luckily I managed not to give it to my mum. Unfortunately I did give it to my husband, who is still feeling the effects

Coincidentally, in light of this week’s outfit formula, I also wore my mini houndstooth jacket. I really like the longer line and the fact that it’s single breasted. A bit Buffy. I hope Cue repeats this style next year in other colours because I’m very enamoured with it.
