Sorry for two days in a row - it rarely happens that I like what I'm wearing enough to photograph it that many times in a week Plus it's new and I liked it!

Really loved wearing this tunic today - had a long (standing up ) work meeting, and lunch outside on a patio and the tunic was just warm enough without it being too hot and fussy. I think this is the first time I've had anything with this funnel neckline, and I'm quite liking it. Would have loved to have paired it with cropped flared ponte pants - anyone seen any lately? Wore these sandals -still a little early for booties here in my mind although lots of people are wearing them - lots of time for those

Paired - awkwardly in the photo ...don't worry, I don't go around looking like something out of a Sears catalogue all day....with vintage (15 years?) Burberry bag, and a vintage (at least 20 years ) Martha Sturdy (Vancouver) resin bracelet. So glad I hung on to that piece. She's a fantastic artist.

Haha! Nope - off to hot yoga afterward and now I'm a , well, hot mess:) A photo was taken at lunch with 8 of us, and I look like a big white plaid whale. Oh the power of taking your own pics:)

Great tunic and great styling. I like funnel necks too - it's a way to do a high-ish neckline while not totally swallowing up my short neck and as a bonus it doesn't feel choking.

I like the idea of trying it with kick flares!

Ha, yeah right. $125Cdn for the Ann Taylor ones. Plus shipping, plus duty, plus taxes etc . Sigh. I'd love to try the look with a less spendy version, but again, thanks for finding these- they are perfect otherwise! I won't even tell you how much the Theory ones are in Cdn $.

Yes, yes! Mod perfection! That funnel neck sits beautifully on you--just the right width to my eye. I love your shoes with this look too. And I can't picture this as looking plaid whale (though the image of a whale swimming around in plaid did make me laugh). Were you standing on the edge of the pic by any chance? I've found that anytime I'm on the end of a row in a group pic, I instantly gain at least 20 camera pounds.

Yep - second from the end beside someone who is 5'2". Hence the plaid busty beluga whale.

Aida - I've missed you so on the forum! It's a regular size , and I could easily have sized down to a small, but it's too late now. It's so cosy and soft ! The Burberry gets hauled out about 3 or 4 times a winter - which is why it's lasted so long . Just not my every day bag. I love it though and it was worth the money . Reminds me of Canada 's iconic Hudson Bay blanket stripes.

This is fabulous. You have such a knack for picking items that are a bit different and putting them together with fantastic accessories in a completely unique and personal way. That's called style, lady. You got it.

This is the magic quality I never had and still don't. Some of it derives from pure old talent. Some derives from closet depth and history. You have to have been "at this game" for a while and have a few interesting statement pieces in your closet to be able to recognize that "this" will look cool with "that." And you also have to have the actual items, something closet minimalists won't -- so whenever you wish for a super streamlined wardrobe remember that. Too small means nothing left to play with.

Super cool '70's vibe, like a James Bond gal! I'm with you on not wanting to wear booties yet. It'll be time for that soon enough, and rumor has it we're in for a winter rivaling the one from last year.

I love those VC sandals - I have the same pair. When I was in Vegas during the summer, I went to the Vince Camuto store and the sales associate told me those were their top sellers. I'm going to add your outfit to my favorites as another way to way them.

That top is excellent, I love the pairing with the bag (and I'm not much of a pattern mixing fan!), and you look fantastic! I need to stop getting on the end in group photos, and I also need to stop putting my arms up around people's shoulders in group photos (even when that's what everyone else is doing) because those are two guaranteed ways to make me look HUGE. It's always better if I hide in the back.

Ha - Janet ! I know! It's not like I'm particularly tall at 5'5" but with heels on , I seem to be a giant ! I tried to hide in the back, but there was no back. lol.

Suz - that's a very nice compliment. Oftentimes I feel like an imposter here on the forum. I mean, anyone can buy something, put themselves in it and take a picture, and that's what I feel I do. I don't feel I have much creativity - and it only seems to work with new pieces where I'm excited to wear them. I don't have a huge wardrobe - partly by choice, and partly because my weight and body shape changes so much that it's costly to maintain a lot of clothes - having to buy different sizes every year. - but I do have a good sized accessories collection . And which bag, shoes and jewellery I am going to wear with something new is the first thing I imagine. Yes, I have been at this game since I was about 10 - sewing my own clothes to wear to school I do appreciate your kind words - it means a lot.

Karie - I swear EVERY time I wear these VC sandals, someone comments on them,. Every time. To me they are nice, but not THAT special - but they must look good on the foot or something because they really seem to be a hit. I had them on yesterday while shopping in a shoe store, and the SA commented that they were their best selling shoe too last summer. Kind of wish more colours had been available - like a metallic. And re: the upcoming winter - I"M NOT LISTENING.

As Suz says, having accessories (or clothes) that span decades and knowing how and when to incorporate them is such a great way to put your mark on things. Ya got the eye!

Two questions ..... because now you have me really really wanting that sweater.

I just saw that this sweater/tunic/dress comes in a navy version too. Did you see that in the store? It looks like it is navy with coppery stripes? I might like that colorway more for me. Would love to know if you saw it.

Also, have you tried putting a coat on with this? Just wondering how well the sleeves play with a coat.
