Here’s an assortment of items that have been winners on my clients. Many of them have worked well on petites in petite sizes. I bought a few of them on my recent trip to visit family in London.

- Peter Kaiser Women's Aila Pull on Knee High Stretch Boots in Nuba Suede: SUBLIME smart casual boots for narrow calves. They look a whole lot better on the leg than in the photo. Perfect to pair with skirts and dresses. Beautifully made and extremely comfortable. Refined, sleek and classic, and with an on trend snip toe. Great low heel. I bought these in INK BLUE in London, and can't be happier with them. They come in black, blue, grey and brown too.
- Zara Frilled Dress With Floral Patch: A flouncy Modern Retro dress with statement embroidery. The back is longer than the front which offsets the shorter length. A good holiday dress at a good price. Excellent with pearls, hosiery, knee-high boots, and coat.
- Ann Taylor Colorblock Furry Stole: Combine a jacket or dress with a colour-blocked muffler, just for fun. The navy is as lovely.
- Ann Taylor Abstract Jacquard Extrafine Merino Wool Sweater: A fab pullover for skirts or culottes. Great on those who wear cool tones.
- Ann Taylor Colorblock Milano Sweater: Diagonal Striped Fabness.
- Ann Taylor Geo Jacquard Sweater: A fab pullover for skirts or culottes. Great on those who wear warm tones or earth tones.
- Ann Taylor Houndstooth Flare Sweater Dress: A gorgeous Modern Retro dress with plenty of length. It covered my kneecap and I'm 5ft 6. Unique, and best on a curvy figure. Looks fresh.
- Ann Taylor Banded Statement Coat: A happy coat that works well on petites. Runs a size big.
- Ann Taylor Wave Sweater Dress: The photo does not do this sweater dress justice. I bought it to wear with my new ink blue knee-high boots and was wowed by the fit, quality and comfort. I LOVE this dress. It's ink blue with a geometric rust pattern. Hits me just above the knee.
- Ann Taylor Side Button Sweater Dress: An excellent sweater dress in olive or navy for a small bust and long neck. Fit is swingy, yet streamlined. Good as a tunic for tall gals. Might run a size small.
- COS High-neck slit top: I was wowed when my sister-in-law tried this on in London. She wears a size UK16 or 18 and fits a Large perfectly. It works surprisingly well on a large bust because of the cowl neckline. The mixed media design detailing on the side seams is divine. It's BLUE not black, and you can layer a tee or turtleneck underneath for warmth, and wear it with skinnies, leggings, cropped straights or bootcuts. Runs big.
- COS Petal drape blouse: A flouncy blouse that works well on a large bust. Gorgeous tulip layers. Runs big.
- COS Ribbon knit top: An easy holiday pullover to pair with black pants. Runs big.
- Hobbs Janie Stripe Sweater: A Modern Retro pullover for a smaller bust and long neck. Too short for long torsos or tall gals, unless you're looking for a crop top. Good on petites. Divinely fitted despite its trapeze silhouette. Might run a size small. I bought this top and have already worn it three times. Great for Spring too.
- SOL SANA Rico Pointy Toe Bootie (Women): A moderately comfortable snowy snakeskin bootie with a trendy block heel.
- COS Long high-neck jumper: A tunic for regular height and tall gals. The silhouette works surprisingly well for a large bust. It's swingy in a subtle way. Will not work on petites. I bought the ink blue to change things up in my pullover capsule.
- Banana Republic Lilian Wool Scarf: Chartreuse Scarf Fabness.
- Faux-Suede Shirtdress: A fun '70s style dress to wear with tall boots or as a tunic over bootcuts. The fabric is divinely soft, and the buttons make a statement. Quite tailored. Not good on a large bust. Great on petites. Runs a size small.
- Printed A-Line Dress: A pretty fit-and-flare that works well on a curvy petite with a defined waist. Runs a size small.
- Gingham Dress: Gingham Sweater Dress Fabness for the inverted triangle. Great on petites.
- Houndstooth Ponte Dress: A super frock for the office if you're curvy and petite. Not good on apple shapes. Comfy and slimming.
- Ann Taylor Fluted Sleeve Dress: Tomato Red Flirty Frock Fabness. Works well on a rectangle, straighter hourglass, or inverted triangle with a longer neck. The sleeves are divine. FESTIVE.
- Ann Taylor Ruffle Turtleneck Pullover: A soft frilly turtleneck with a fluid fit. All the colours are nice.
- Ann Taylor Pearlized Pave Sphere Pendant: A subtle pearl necklace that works well on petites.
- Ann Taylor Shawl Collar Cape: A structured wrap for Team Tall with broad shoulders.
- Ann Taylor Vine Print Topper: A stunning brocade coat that makes a statement. Beautifully made. Looks like a designer piece. You have to love orange to like this coat so consider yourself warned. It also bustles out at the back from the side view in true Modern Retro style. Might run a size big.
- Banana Republic Dillon-Fit Long-Sleeve Silk Blouse: If you wear citron, try this soft silk blouse. Semi-tuck it into bottoms for structure. The pattern reminds me of a menswear tie. It also comes in chocolate brown.
- Banana Republic Bow Metallic Clutch: A sleek yet roomy mirrored clutch. Comes in a few colours.
- Banana Republic Flounce Front Moto Jacket: The best soft black moto jacket of the year. I LOVE the ruffle and the metallic sheen. MAXIMAL. And go Team Daytime Sparkle. Works well on petites.
- Banana Republic Faux Fur Vest: '70s Vest Fabness. Size down. Not good on petites.
- Banana Republic Merino Sweater Vee: An extremely good basic V-neck pullover that layers well under jackets, or can be worn on its own. Works well on apple shapes because it's sufficiently roomy on the midsection. The centre front rib detailing is vertically slimming. Excellent on petites and comes in lots of colours.
- Banana Republic Heritage Metallic Ribbed Pullover: Chunky Earthy Metallic Pullover Fabness. Both colours are nice.
- Banana Republic Double-Face Scalloped Waist Dress: A fab dress on a curvy petite. Blue is best.
- Banana Republic Heritage Blazer: The navy is a little lighter in person, and the sage embroidery is gorgeous. FABULOUS fit on a narrow frame. Beautifully made. Very crisp. I want one.
- AYR 'The Blanket' Open Front Wool Coat: A great on trend blazer for an inverted triangle because it narrows on the hip.
- Loft Square Stripe Pleated Sweater: The party on the back of this pullover is brilliant. The pattern also comes through a little in the front. Works well on petites.
- Munro 'Mara' Block Heel Pump (Women): These pumps look better on the foot. Well made and very comfortable. Excellent on wide feet in a wide size.
- Loft Paisley Lantern Shirtdress: On trend tunic fabness. Great lantern sleeves.
- Loft Crimson Floral Jacquard Dress: A Winter dress made of substantial jacquard fabric. Best on a curvy hourglass or pear shape. Brilliant on petites.
- Donna Morgan Fit & Flare Repeat Body Dress: I have not seen this dress in person yet, but the pattern looks interesting, the silhouette comfortable, and the pockets fun. Good sleeve length too.
- Zara Patent Finish Two-tone Clutch: A trendy metal ring bag in a two-toned patent, just for fun.
