The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale always generates a lot of excitement. Many YLF readers love the fact that unlike typical end of season sales, the NAS offers merchandise from the upcoming Fall and Winter season at discounted prices. But not everyone can shop at Nordstrom, so this year we’re creating a special area in the forum for NAS conversations.

NAS preselections (or “Early Access”) is starting on July 9th and ending on July 16th. If you have a Nordstrom card you can book a preselection appointment with a Nordstrom sales associate. The official start date is July 17th and the sale will run for two weeks before the prices of brand new Fall & Winter merchandise go back up. I’ll be posting my top picks lists on the blog early on the morning of July 17th.

The NAS is a great opportunity to get some quality items at discounted prices. Of course, lower prices are never a reason to buy items you wouldn’t have otherwise added to your wardrobe. All the tips I mentioned in this old post from 2009 still apply.
