Today I worked and am headed to the company's holiday party afterward. I wasn't sure I'd have time to change, so I wore the same outfit for both occasions with a change of shoes. (And I'll put on red lipstick for the party.) The party is not very fancy--there isn't any dress code. It's a dinner cruise. I'm concerned about being cold, so I decided to dress a bit more for warmth than glamor.
The outfit:
black knit harem pants (Eileen Fisher)
cranberry red long-sleeved tee (made by me)
black and silvery-pearl lace knit shrug (made by me)
long key necklace with rhinestone
chunky silver-tone bracelet with rhinestones
tiny gunmetal-set crystal earrings
large clutch in pewter matelasse fabric (made by me)
For work, I wore the harem pants knee length to create a bubble-skirt, with black wedge boots (Pikolinos)
For the party, I'm wearing the harem pants long, with black d'Orsay pumps (Vince, Claire)
Harem pants can go to work and out afterward. (I'm pretty happy that I finally got these; they are fun to style.)
Thanks for looking! Comments and ideas welcome. I'll be back after the party. . . .
