Here are several outfits based on the cargo pants formula, worn over the past two weeks for casual evening outings, with the exception of the first one, which was worn for weekend errands.
1) The first outfit is a pretty direct interpretation of the "Clean & Classic" formula: wide olive cargos, white ruched tee, denim jacket and white sneakers.
Next are two different interpretations of the "Utility Pretty" formula:
2) Here we have old boxy cropped white eyelet blouse combined with taupe utility pants, and snakeskin slingback heels.
3) The 2nd version is a new Zara blouse with small rosettes at the neckline, with wide light blue cargos and white fisherman sandals.
4) This is a version of the "Dressed up" formula, worn for evening drinks with a friend on a rainy evening. It was based on ancient (~17years old!) olive silk cargos, with black top to which I added a black rosette brooch, black multi-strap shoes and black moto.
5) A bonus outfit from last nights kitty cafe & fancy dinner outing from my other thread, that the forum helped me pick. I guess it could be a looser variation of Utility Pretty, where the "pretty" is the black lace blazer instead of a blouse. Same cargo pants and sandals from the third outfit, with a blue cutout top, black lace blazer, and skinny polka dot scarf.
I am missing the "Smart Casual" formula, which is the plans as well. My version will be with new wide black satin cargo pants instead of jeans. The pants are the tailor at the moment getting hemmed.
