I had a couple of fun activities this weekend to celebrate my birthday and I used the opportunity to play with some trends and wear fun almost all-black outfits.
On Saturday evening I had a birthday dinner with a group of friends and later went to a ballroom social. I went for a bit of a dark romance look combining black lace high-neck NY&Co blouse with black coated 7FAMK flares, and pewter Elie Tahari booties. The topper is my birthday present to myself, a super soft pale blue faux fur Loft jacket. (#1-2)
Sunday afternoon was spent with a good friend who recently moved away but came to town this weekend. We went for dim-sum, chocolate cake and some window shopping. I built the outfit around my long black AT vest/gilet that I have had for a couple of seasons - it is the reason I skipped the R&B gilet at NAS this year even though I liked it better because I felt I already own something similar. I combined with with thin merino ribbed At sweater with flounce at the sleeve ends, fake leather BR Sloan pants, same ET pewter booties, black sparkly choker necklace and silver bag.
