I haven't posted any outfits in a long time, and today's blog post was the push to finally start doing it again, since purple is my favorite color. My 2nd fave is teal, and I love combos of the two together. I don't have nearly as much "real" green as purple or teal. I decided to give myself a little challenge, to wear a version of the formula for a week, with any version of green.
Today (outfit #1) I was WFH (we are on a hybrid schedule), and one of my 2023 style goals is to put together outfits for this that are better than just loungewear. I do need to wear very comfy stuff when at home, so mostly knits, but some wovens can work, too. I am aiming for a dressed up loungewear look, mostly nicer, more tailored joggers& casual pants with knit blazers etc., the look that ME+EM does so well. Todays iteration is a super casual version of the first outfit from the blog post: bright purple cropped relaxed sweater, olive wide cargos, and white slip-on sneakers. These sneakers are for indoor use only, I wear them as WFH slippers.
The second outfit ( #2 and #3) was worn this evening when running some errands - I changed as it was too cold outside for the cargo pants which are relatively thin. The outfit consists of short green sweater, plum velvet cropped kick flare pants, green teddy coat and a bunch of plum/purple accessories: booties, bag, watch and beret. I was going for soft, warm textures.
As usual, all the comments and suggestions are welcome!
