Tracina, LBelleD, Adelfa, and LoveSarahDub -- Thank you!
I have to keep myself on a tight leash to keep from buying "fantasy life" clothes, so as much as I went "ack, nothing to wear!" and then did my Goldilocks thing, it's great to have an excuse to buy something impractical.
Maybe if I had more special occasions I'd buy more versatile items, I don't know.
By the way (attn LSDub?) while looking I got seriously fascinated by RenttheRunway.com -- even if it meant realizing I'm more of a prude than I thought about dress length, ha!
Seems like customers are super-happy with the experience, and I loved seeing the same fancypants dress on different women's shapes/heights etc. [Sound familiar?] I'm just too much of a control freak to use them for a huge occasion, but for something like NYE it could be fun.
ps Beth Ann, so interesting, especially the part about noticing how your students' posture strengths/weaknesses have changed pre- to post-computer society.
