I started the weekend with Angie's inspiration for Ultra Casual Blue in White, in honour of you wonderful US ladies for 4th of July (I should add that it is so fun to use Angie's posts for inspiration - I need to do this more often

1) 06.04.14 Gap camo shorts, Joe Fresh white T, Sam Edelman circus sneaks (light blue) and can you see the peek of a red bracelet? That's all I could think of for red

2) Friday night - impromptu date night - Zara white top, black cotton "sweats" - Aritzia, VC flats with ankle straps - new - so far these have been getting great use!!

Saturday - not shown - I wore my brightest coral shorts/crops and a white tshirt to watch the Netherlands win in penalty kicks over Costa Rica (!!! YAY !!!). Unfortunately I decided to make a salad with beets and of course sprayed myself with red juice...no photo...

3) 06.07.14 Actually - photo 4 is what I wore to church. Grey skinnies, same white Zara top, BC Hard to Tell sandals, Enoki white cross body, H&M scarf

4) 06.07.14 - it was pouring rain and I drove up the Sea to Sky highway to pick up DS2 who was staying with grandparents. Same as earlier pic but I threw on (then took off) a teal cardigan (Aritzia), and changed my shoes to the Sam Edelman Circus sneaks (another new purchase - and so far, GREAT!!)

That was my casual weekend. Hope you had a great weekend and Happy Monday

What a stylish set of casual outfits! All are amazing, and I especially like the camo shorts and sporty-luxe vibe on #2.

You also have a wonderful shoe collection. I have a question on the VC flats in #2, could you comment on their comfort? Are they TTS, is there some support in the sole, is the leather softer or harder etc. ? I think that they are the same as a pair in taupe I am eying, and it would be great to know what they are like. Thanks!

Hi Tanya - I find the VC flats to be tts - I'm a 7.5 and bought a 7.5. I've slipped lots of d'orsay flats on my feet b/c I've been looking for quite awhile. My right foot runs quite wide, so often it doesn't fit, or pokes out of the front bit. As soon as I slipped these on, I knew I had to have them. The leather is soft, and the overall feel is comfortable. I have very fussy feet. The support is ok - but keep in mind they are a flat. The first day I wore them, I had a little cutting on my left ankle from one of the straps. Fortunately the straps are adjustable, so I could loosen it up a bit. They haven't bothered me since, but I've only been wearing them for an hour or two at a time. If I wear them for a longer period then next time I'll put on a little bandaid Hope that helps! If you do get them - make sure you walk around with them on in the house a lot - to see if the rubbing bothers your ankle.

Thanks Jackie, that sounds promising. Still need to think about them. I do not need the shoes at all, but I certainly want them :-p

Jackie, you look wonderful!! I love the camo shorts on you. We are triplets with Janet on these; I copied her. I normally don't like camo but these look like water to me!
