Well, I was going to wear bootcuts today, but the wet weather convinced me otherwise. It was nice to pull out a pair of "real" shoes again after a month of walking shoes and mud boots!

This is being worn for a day of errands and popping into my studio for a few hours to try to catch up on some work. Amazing how much can pile up when you're away for a month, even when you've been trying to stay on top of things from the road.

The bag is a relatively new purchase from a couple of months ago that I haven't included here before. It was a random lucky find in TJMaxx because I have been wanting to add a little something in cognac to my closet. This bag has a removable pouch inside that even doubles as an easy little clutch in a fun B&W pattern. Not bad for $40.

I assume all of the c words are the music reference, and sadly, I can't come up with it. My hipness factor not being particularly high when it comes to new music Anways - I love seeing your beautiful face again on the forum ! Have missed you. That $40 bag is a great thing, and I love your whole look today. Great blazer too .

LOL The musical reference is actually pretty old (80s) but fairly obscure. Whenever I hear alliteration, I think of it.:-)

Looks like you have your mojo intact just fine - I like this, love that you're wearing the chambray shirt and it looks great with the jacket and sneakers. That was a great find on the bag - very cute inner pouch too!

Janet is that the DVF Galaxy blazer? I tried that one on but was so disapointed that it was not lined since it clung to things and I returned it. But it looks wonderful on you!! Having trench envy!! That Burberry looks marvelous on you!! I don't know kiddo, your mojo looks pretty awesome to me!!

That bag is a bargain. Beautiful cognac color and great minimalistic shape. I love your outfit and it's so great to see your fab style again. Your chambray looks a lot like mine, which I wore yesterday after a hiatus over the winter. You keep saying that you have a hip/thigh issue, but I frankly can't see it. If it's there, you are very good at camouflaging it.

Gryffin, it IS the galaxy blazer. I got it a couple of years ago. I was unsure about it at first because of the unlined, unstructured nature of it (I think it's a little cheaply made for the price, to be blunt), but it works for me because it I actually wanted something that wouldn't get too warm in the warmer months, and I like that it has some drape. It is pretty darn comfortable, and it fits me well, so I kept it. I wouldn't say it's been a workhorse, but it's a nice change of pace. I had enough other tailored pieces that I liked the variety this jacket provided. For those who wondered what kind of fabric it is (I think it might photograph more like a tweed or boucle), it's actually a very lightweight viscose blend -- a spring/summer kind of jacket really, although I could pair it with enough dark pieces in the winter that the casual viewer wouldn't suspect.

AM, funny that you found this bag too! It's a little deeper than I usually prefer for bags (things can get lost in the bottom so easily), but I'm carrying relatively few items these days, so it's not a deal-breaker. The inner pouch helps keep things organized too. I like that it's just the right size to tuck a magazine or book into as well!

LOL, Una, I think I got that trench 3 or 4 years ago, during a YLF NYC meetup. Although I actually bought it the day before I met up with everyone! I was wandering around Bloomingdales and saw a rack of black Burberry trenches…all except for this one teal one. What incredible luck that it was actually my size! If I gain any weight at all beyond where I am now in the hips, I can only wear it open, so it is a good incentive to keep my weight somewhat in check.

Love the new bag, I have also found some nice ones at TJ Maxx. It's the first place I look when I get to a store. Then I look at the Contemporary rack, I've found some James Perse and YFB there.

So your sneakers look great in this outfit, I'm calling it -- that style from Ash is now officially classic. They pre-date the Isabel Marant sneakers, no? And as always you have combined the perfect colors, silhouettes and proportions for a flattering and effortless look.

It is funny that I found this bag too. When I saw your image of yours, I was stunned. And delighted.

This would definitely be a bag that I would use when I downsize to a few items and don't want to lug my large bag. I need to play with this and see how the inner pouch works for me. And I need to see if it holds iPad. But not a deal breaker in the slightest. I like the ultra minimal qualities of this bag.
