I tried Angie's outfit formula today, combining winter white jeans with "neutrals." My neutrals are the gray puffer coat, pewter booties and bag, and a silver belt that is covered up. The pullover is decidedly not neutral, but I like how it goes with the cream jeans.

The outfit:
Cream boyfriend jeans (Citizens of Humanity, Emerson); mod print pullover sweater in cream, light aqua and plum (Maeve); pewter booties (Mephisto); pewter bag (Kurt Geiger); silver belt (Rag & Bone); gray tweed-print puffer (OSKA).

Thanks, Angie, for the inspiration!

Edited to add: Today is another day, and I wore another version of the winter white jeans with neutrals. This is the version I originally thought of when I saw Angie's post:

Cream boyfriend jeans (same as yesterday, citizens of Humanity, Emerson); olive pullover (Old Navy); olive belt (Fossil); olive suede boots (LaCanadienne); olive puffer coat (Lauren Ralph Lauren); light olive cross-body bag with olive and off-white twill strap (Madewell); a mixed metal layered pendant necklace (Madewell) and mixed metal square stud earrings (Marjorie Baer).
I especially like how this sweater works with the jeans, because it has flecks of white in it.
