I must say, what fortitude in clicking through all my photos! I don't think I would have the patience, especially since I know the quality is not all that great. Believe it or not, these were pretty much all different tops even if they look the same in my (bad) photos. The exception was #30/31 which I wore on Thanksgiving. I wore the sweater in 1/2 and the skirt later in the month.
@Zaeobi and @Jussie: The pale gray tights with the white jeans skirt (#17/18) are two layers of basically the same color. All hosiery is my regular size; if I am on the borderline between two sizes I always size up because I have chunky (sturdy? sumo?) legs. I avoid control tops. Yuck!
@Suz and @Bonnie: Give me the numbers and I will track down the Finds if I have them. If not, I can at least provide the brand and store. Some photos may be a bit misleading, like #7 is a NAS sweater vest over a dress.
@Nikki: Having lost a few pounds over the pandemic enabled me to tuck that coral sweater (and Heattech underlayer, slip shorts, and two layers of stockings) under that slightly stretchy pencil skirt and elastic waist pleated skirt. The apple green turtleneck in #20/21 is from Lands End -- probably 30 or 40 years ago. I love the color but not how it's cut so I rarely wear it but haven't gotten rid of it. Somehow, I find that Lands End cuts make me look frumpy. I decided the sweater dress layered over a turtleneck in #47 is a FAIL; looks much worse IRL. Maybe running the dress through the wash would shrink it a tiny bit and give it more structure and look better.
@Angie: The beluga green pleather skirt in #36 was probably the first thing I posted on YLF ten years ago -- as a K/R. I have since learned that it needs to be ironed between wears (washing or a spin through the dryer does nothing) so it really dissuades me from wearing it. Lesson learned. I thought of you with the colors in #13, but that darn cotton sweater seems to get really stretched out.
