Inspired by Angie's blog plus citygirldc's use of snakeskin to bring in the white, I dressed for a day in the wild yesterday! Bonus picture of me in a different thrift shop. Selfies in second hand shop mirrors are my new hobby - regardless of smudges!

I love those boots on you ! And I’m not generally a snakeskin fan - but these are so striking with the rest of your look. As for the thrift shop , the piles of stuff and things on the floor are anxiety inducing !

These booties just spoke to me last year, and I am glad I splurged for them (not thrifted!).
Janet - Thrift shops just reopened a couple of weeks ago after the easing of our SECOND lockdown (9 weeks of nothing). I am thrifting my fingers off until the third comes (I hope the vaccine comes first, but am skeptical).

I'm so glad you splurged on those boots, just perfect on you. great to see you out and about too. Both outfits are fab, but you do look even more amazing than usual in #1. now what is it with the shoes on the wall in the second picture? Of course I’m hung up on the shoes LOL. I can’t tell from the picture, are they wall decoration? Or hanging on the mirror?

I like how the cropped pants in the first photo show off the pointy boots! I agree it’s a great bookend to your hair. Like kkards, I also noticed the shoes on the frame — please explain!

kkards and avicennia - Those shoes are high heel "fancy" shoes being showcased at the thrift store. They are marked up to something around $25-$40 as opposed to the usual $5 -$7 for shoes.
Bijou and Brooklyn - Thanks! Since I am out and about when not at home my bags are pretty integral to my "lewk" .

You inspired me to get a little dressed up for my thrifting adventure last week (my first in months!) and I came home with such treasures! It was a nice little escape...
