So the best part of my day was driving to meet Beth Ann at Nordie's. It was a fabulous and dare I say CLASSY time. We're definitely going to have to do it again. We started at Nordie's but ended up at Ann Taylor (they were having a 40% everything sale). I had to get back to the city for a christening -- last I left Beth Ann she was about to visit Banana Republic. (Why must all social activities happen at the SAME time????) I really wanted to go but (sigh) duty calls...
The worst part of my day was running into one of the no-shows from last week's party at a mutual friend's house. I just don't like it when people try to pretend nothing happened and talk to you as if everything is right in the world. I couldn't pretend like I wasn't disappointed and found that I had very little to say to this person.
BTW ... this picture proves that I'm really not as tall as I look.
