WIW: The Statement Sweater - YouLookFab Forum

I wore this for the school run today and also for my driving lessons. It is so fun to be behind the wheel! I love it! 38 more lessons to go!

I am wearing olive jeans (Zara TRF/last winter), a cream and gray statement pullover (F&F/new/bought during the EOS sale last winter!) and my super comfy gray suede oxfords (Zara/thrifted). The white studded handbag (Steve Madden/old) and sparkly earrings (was just in the mood for some bling!) completed the outfit.

I don't really have too many sweaters/pullovers (4 may be!) .... I think I need more statement sweaters (or basic sweaters!) because this could become my winter uniform for crazy mornings. But I suspect I would stop wearing jackets then! This is plenty warm for our winter! Hmm .... I am on SYC mode right now (2 months and I am still good, except for the DV flats which I bought in exchange for the striped blazer), I probably wouldn't be investing on clothes for next couple of months unless it's a need. I am covered for my holidays too At this stage, I am so glad that my wardrobe is still pretty current! I have to thank YLF and Angie for that

So what is your verdict on today's outfit? .... The PMWIW challenge really has got me into the habit of posting frequently again! Fun! Have a nice day you all x

Do you have 40 or so lessons actually driving, or are some of those in the classroom?

Windchime - 40 lessons on the road. Each lesson is half hour long .... And it is a 2 hour session. So I practically finish 4 lessons in one session. I should be done in 5 weeks .. Considering I do two sessions a week

Una - I drop kids through a private car drop off service (since there are no school buses from DSs' school to our area). DS1 would go on his own, but DS2 has been notoriously unwilling to go by himself and wants me to drop him and pick him up everyday. Which is why the school runs.

The service is super expensive and driving kids to school would save me a lot of money (Since fuel is cheap here). Not to mention the freedom of movement! :). I have to get that license!

ETA: Sometimes DH drops us, but he is mostly traveling. So I can't really depend on him. Even then, I still have to go to school because DS2 refuses to go otherwise! The initial startup phase I guess.

Neel, I'm impressed with your driving instruction! I'm trying to remember how many times I actually drove during my driver's ed. It seems it was no more than half a dozen. It may be different in the States now; I'll find out when DS learns to drive.
