WIWs: Summer Blue and Black & KIR w/ Una lemming #2

1) i really like Angie's recent ensemble post. Light blue washes me out, so mid-tone will do. Also gave me a reason to wear these Leith pants which were an Angie pick two or three years ago. I like to leave the zippers open a couple of inches when I wear it with these black pumps. Necklace to bookend the leg zips.
2) Keeping It Real in the rain. Is it seasonally confusing to wear tall rain boots, shorts, and a beret? LOL!

Very lightweight with comfy insole. Just a teeny bit big for my low volume feet, but a ball of foot insert keeps my feet from sliding forward.

The blue top is a very good color for you and a good interpretation of Angie's look. Boots and shorts seems like a very "festival" look to me, but you seem to be making it work well here.

AJ! I love the floral shoes on you! I will say I've worn mine to wade across a river several times and the finish on the footbed is starting to peel off. But I imagine that's due to my usual shoe abuse. Otherwise they have been a joy. You are wearing them just as I do. And I like the shorts and boots.

Celia, thanks! Yes, summer has to be about the accessories, because it is too hot to layer. I can't even wear scarfs or necklaces if I'm going to be outside for any length of time. So fun earrings, hats, shoes, and bags are my summer workhorses.

I remember the Leith summer! Glad to see yours is still working for well for you. I never bought this exact pant, but I have a very similar one in my wardrobe that I love for hot days. I also have 3 cropped pairs for my athleisure and lounge.

Your first look is sleek and lovely -- this would be a good travel look.

The boots with beret are worth of a little singing in the rain!
