Good morning, and thanks for not pointing out my lace half-cami was showing unevenly! The price of doing a goofy pose before the "serious" one.
[Given all the practicing dancers we have around here -- Tanya, Mochi, LBD come to mind -- you see my risk was less with style and more with posing. ]
AJ*, Fuzzylogic, Angie, Tanya, and Jackiec -- Thank you! I know there's real freedom in *not* having to dress up to do somewhat special things -- especially when everyone's so busy and multi-tasking with time and clothing money.
But yes, generally I'll look for an excuse to wear something more frivolous! Gotta balance out my sneaks and hiking boot looks.
CocoLion -- My waves appreciate your noticing, as low humidity + warm = bouncin' and behavin' hair. Too bad it's generally only like this 3 out of 12 months! My posterior also thanks you for the praise since overcoming its natural tendencies takes (boring) effort!
Janet -- You're so right: this is *exactly* the kind of dress that takes to those kind of dress-down looks because it really is as comfortable as activewear. In theory I could have worn it to clean the house AND go out to dinner.
*AJ -- yep, my alarm clock has to live in the hall. Even the little kids in my larger family are non-morning people!
