I'm temporarily on a "dress very casually" kick (context here), and it's been an interesting challenge: my "dressier" energies are funneled into the weekend, with the result that I spend more time thinking/planning them; I rather like the result, but would love some feedback!

Photo 1 is an example of something I'd wear to work everyday during this challenge: fairly casual, but a bit more interesting than jeans-and-a-tee.

Photo 2 is an example of a "dressier" outfit I'd wear to push the dressiness threshold a bit. I'd love to promote this to my "casual workwear" list, but I'd need to swap out the shoes -- any suggestions? I'm currently thinking about a cream or gray pair of converses.

Photos 3 - 5 are a dressier weekend look for me. I can't believe I forgot to photograph my purse: it's a boxy cream shoulder bag (photo 5). I'm playing with colors here (cream, optic white, camel, nude). Do you have any suggestions for improvement?

Photos 6 & 7 didn't photograph well. I'm wearing a touchably-soft angora eggshell turtleneck, the same optic white jeans, a taupe moto, and the gray crossbody featured here. I'm actually playing with texture here (pleather/leather, angora, denim, patent), but it ended up looking like another winter-white experiment. Is the eggshell too close in tone to optic white for this to look good?
