WIW: skirts, pinks, and powder blue

The sun came out! Time for some lighter colors and skirts.

1 - My favorite hectic skirt with new ghillie flats from Asos and a light knit sweater.

2 - layering pinks and burgundy, I also tried this with a white linen blazer which worked, but I kind of liked the pink pile-on

3 - minimalist navy and white with red lips and tory burch shoes

4 - new to me thrifted lambswool/angora sweater, and new blue flats from DSW. Is it better semi-tucked or untucked ?

5 - column of blue with boyfriend jeans and white booties. Also wore this with the red ghillie flats which worked, but the boot heels help lengthen the block of blue somewhat better I think.

All feedback and tweaks welcome!

Holy cow! You get my vote for best dressed for the week . (last week, I assume:) )
1. love those red flats - so, so unique and interesting
2. every piece here fits perfectly; interesting colours and great shoes
3. again, simply perfect in terms of fit
4. tucked is fantastic - what a gorgeous sweater, and who even has soft blue shoes?? you do !
5. love this - and what boots are those? I love them. I'm not necessarily a white boot fan, but these I like.

Oh goodness! What fantastic shoes and boots!

My favourite is #5, but all outfits are lovely. I vote semi untucked for outfit #4. Soft blue colours are utterly gorgeous on you.

Wow, so great. That first skirt is gorgeous! Your really do have such defined and wonderful style. My favorite is #5 but everything is great. Oh and I love your feline friend sneaking into pic #2.

alaskagirl, jenanded, Peri -- #2 was a pleasant accident, since I ran back into the house to get a jacket when it was cold, but I'll try that again. Peri, I've seen that deep fuchsia color in several sleeveless and short sleeve tops at a Banana Republic Factory store recently, it's a great color for us isn't it?

lisap -thank you, the boots are from Asos and pinned below. They have been comfortable with an added insole and since they are vegan, do okay with a little rain and scuffs have wiped off so far. I tried on so many vegan and leather white boots, and two sizes in several, and these ended up working the best with various outfits.

Secretsquirrel - I'll do semi-tucked with the sweater, I wouldn't have thought of it looking in the mirror, but it does work better in photos.

texstyle, SecretSquirrel, jill58 - I was happy with how simple number 5 was and comfortable, glad you like it

Rabbit, I ALWAYS love your clothes! All these looks are magical, from the "hectic" skirt (so great with those shoes and the denim jacket) to the pink pile-on (Yum) and that heavenly blue mix. Those blue shoes--oh my. Fantastic.

Amazing outfits! Love your style and especially the colour mixing in #2 and the perfect simplicity of #3 (the shoes! <3) Very fun and beautiful how you match your lipstick to your outfits. Also loving the skirt and red ballerinas combo in #1. What's not to love?!

Fantastic outfits! You are particular about your shoes and accessories and it makes for maximum impact and interest. Love the layered pink and the skirt and white top is minimal perfection. I like #4 semi-tucked.

Wow, what a great selection of outfits. Your wardrobe is very diverse and each look is so different from the next.
I really like you hectic skirt--so spring-like and I like the combination of colours.
I think my favorite outfit is the pink pile on: I love the tone on tone matching and you've done it in a somewhat unexpected set of colours. It is really artistic and fab.
Also love 3---the red lip elevates the outfit into "great" territory.
I prefer the tuck into the blue skirt.

Truly fabulous collection of outfits. And you look so comfortable and "at home" in each one.

Each one is perfection in proportion, balance of color/detail/classic vs. trendy. The wearability of every combination is stunning me, as well as the loveliness of each individual garment in this collection. Whew. I must save this post.

Thanks all, I've definitely bought more shoes this year and am expanding out bags somewhat. It's a long search as I usually have a clear idea in my mind -- I could draw exactly what I'm looking for and the exact color to work with outfits I've envisioned, and then it's difficult to find both so specifically and especially at the price that makes sense for me.

But the search uncovers things I wouldn't have thought of that unexpectedly work, so that's good.

Wow! How did I miss these? They're all wonderful! AMAZING skirt in #1. You did a terrific job of layering pink in #2! I love the blue flats in everything - they're so unexpected, but now seen, nothing else would work.

I just LOVE your style! You make the most out of your beautiful hair color and skin tone in these. skirt is so cute and take center-stage. Have you thought of pairing it with a top of a different color just for fun? Shoes in pic 3 bear the maximum wow effect.
