Inspired by Angie's skirted leggings ensemble, I wore mine again today. I don't have a plaid shirt, and it's too cool for a denim jacket. So I wore a denim shirt with a big fuzzy cardigan. I thought about wearing moto boots, to bring a little edge to the outfit, but decided instead to go in a boho direction, with my cowboy boots and a beaded leather wrap bracelet. My long black coat is my nod to the western duster, though my coat is more polished looking, which suits me fine. The satchel is also a more classic touch. Does it all work? Or maybe it looks like I just put on what was at hand?
The outfit (worn for a day off): black skirted leggings (Eileen Fisher); denim shirt (Caslon); black and brown animal print fuzzy cardigan (Free People, Out of Africa); black cowboy boots with red, white, and blue inlay designs and yellow stitching; silver and brass beaded leather wrap bracelet (Lucky); silver and brass earrings (Marjorie Baer); long black coat (Gallery); black satchel (Elliott Lucca, Olvera).
Thanks for looking! I look forward to your thoughts and suggestions.
