Sorry about the awful pictures, few as they are. Seemed I was always rushing from one meeting to another---and lost my camera as well!
Well, no, I didn't exactly drop it in the drink, but I did well and truly misplace it (left it in the ladies'... ::blush::) for a crucial *few* hours of my 3-day 'working' cruise.
It was just a quick Singapore-Malaysia (Port Kelang)-Singapore round trip. And all I have to show for it is the outfit I came aboard in (so wore through the first day as baggage and I both reached my cabin late), and the LBDs I wore to dinner the next two nights (smart casual and formal dress codes respectively). During the days, I was in jeans and summer tops... all of which strangely suffered unfortunate encounters with assorted colours of frozen yogurt before photos could be taken. Um. Yeah.
These few photos actually helped me claim my camera back, though, after a kind lady (BLESS her heart!) found and returned it to the guest relations desk. They wanted photographic evidence it was indeed mine --- so thank goodness for these awful mirror portraits!
Also, a HUGE thank you to everyone who suggested Clarks for me. Those two shoes --- the bronze sandal and black 'slingback janes' --- were life savers, especially the former, which tromped around Singapore for 3 days, morning to late night, after the cruise too. (Sorry to report the Naturalizers were not a success. Will have to search for heel protectors and gel cushions for my toes, and hope they salvage those shoes!)
Btw, this is also photographic evidence that my hair has a mind of its own, a la Medusa. At first it decided to frizz and curl, then it decided to go every which way so that I tied it back, and finally it chose to fall flat...
