Thanks Katerina...Yes that would work too, This is such a useful scarf - it is by far my most worn:)
Thanks Mainelady!!
Jussie - thank you. I did try with silver flats and that worked but not with this sweater. I don't wear a lot of white either (I don't like bright white near my face - only creams and winter whites).
Sterling - I think the bagginess in the jeans can just make me look wider in a photo, and sometimes a bit disheveled. I have been watching a Vlogger called Useless (she is Danish and very attractive) and I notice on her the same thing - well fitting skinny jeans are often the most flattering. And I do have a bit of a white jeans paranoia too - I have to be very careful how I wear them to actually like them on me. White jeans and hourglass/muscular thighs can be an awkward mix:)
Thanks Robin - I also struggle with photos. I have been putting off upgrading my phone to try not to buy into constant upgrading/life cycles etc but my camera is no longer good.
Thanks Canada - these gold ballet flats are a bit "sweet" for my style but comfy....I do like them here and resolve to wear them a bit more often. Better with pants or jeans than with a dress I think for me.
Thanks Suz. I like high contrast looks - but not between top and bottom half - or if I wear that - I need to use figure flattery tricks (heels, semi tucks etc). But I agree - a top with white in the pattern will work well. I have a couple of summer/spring options that I look forward to trying.
Thanks CityGirl, Bj1111 and Anne:)
Sara - the coat feels like a real statement - but it is fun. Thanks!
Lisa - yes I know that exact feeling......ugh!
Carla - yes I liked the white jeans and light boots. I would wear these with black heels but not dark boots.... Do you have camel or cognac boots - I can see that on you in Autumn or Spring?
Thanks Bijou - the fit was perfect (I tried on three other pairs in Country Road and the fit was just awful......) They have a button fly and this often works well on my figure.
Jenn - thanks. I think we both use the column of colour or low contrast a lot....
The Cat - thanks. I agree this camel/caramel (as long as it is warmish in tone) is a super useful colour for me. I probably am best suited to medium contrast looks but I like high contrast too - as long as it does not cut me in half.
