Wearing my newest handknit creation today! This is a sweater dress/tunic knit from 100% cashmere with sparkles (you can see them more clearly in the last photo with the empty cone - that is how much yarn I had left over!). And it has pockets! =D I went simple with some heattech leggings and my Blondo boots. Despite being quite lightweight, the dress is very warm! I added a photo with my Longchamp Planetes bag, as there has been some interest here in that bag lately, so you can see how it looks in relation to my body. It somehow looks smaller and less overwhelming than the Le Pliage, although it's nearly as large.

This dress was actually meant to be a bit shorter than it is here, as this yarn was supposed to shrink quite a bit in a hot, soapy wash (this particular type of cashmere yarn is supposed to be washed in hot water with a lot of soap the first couple of times, and it gets much softer with washing). Well, after washing twice I didn't get quite as much shrinkage as I expected, but I am sick of washing and waiting for it to dry so I'm just wearing it as is. I rather like the slightly oversized fit right now anyway. I purposely knit the sleeves to be extra long, so with less shrinkage than expected they're extra extra long, but I'm just wearing them cuffed here, which is just fine.
