I have to credit Suntiger with presenting an obvious idea, to post multiple outfits in a single post. Good timing, as this past week I put together several Valentine's Day looks including for work, within the limitations of the dress code and professionalism.

1 Monday: Black dress with red printed hearts, that comes to slightly above my knees; sheer black nylons; black ankle boots with a 4 1/4 inch heel, no platform; red velvet heart hairpin, 3 heart sparkle dangle earrings; and heart sparkle necklace.

2 Tuesday: Pink pleated pullover blouse; white skirt suit with red hearts (from Opposuits), that comes to just above my knees; opaque white nylons; pink patent Mary Janes, 3" heel, no platform; pink velvet heart hairclip; 3 heart dangle earrings; and pink bow belt.

3 Wednesday: Lilac tie blouse; pink blazer; red dress pants; neutral sheer knee high stockings; dark purple (officially called “ruby”) suede mary janes, 3 1/2 inch heel, no platform; purple belt; and a rose necklace / earrings / bracelet set.

I went out shopping at the mall with my brother after work, to help him pick out an outfit. He and my boyfriend's cousin went out Friday for Valentine's Day. We settled on a red button front dress shirt, black chinos, and black oxfords, from three different stores. He said they didn't want to dress to the nines, so we kept a hint of casual in the outfit. I saw the photographs he took of her, she wore a red a-line above the knee skater dress, with lace detail at the hem, and black combat boots that looked like about a 4" heel and a small platform, with bare legs (Why women in my generation will go to such great lengths to avoid wearing nylons even at 38 degrees F I cannot figure out, but that's a different topic Good Grief!)

In the mall I got a new pair of boots, that I talk about in this post

4 Thursday: White dress with red hearts, that comes to slightly above my knees; neutral sheer nylons (I wanted to wear light pink, but chose neutral for the office); red patent 3 3/4" heel, 1/2" platform; red velvet heart hair clip; “love” dangle earrings; and red sparkle necklace.

5 Friday: White ruffle blouse; red blazer; pink dress pants; red boots (knee-high, though look like ankle boots under pants, I don’t own any red ankle boots right now), 4" heel, 1/2” platform; rose / ruby heart stud earrings (the heart dangles); dark red rose necklace; and red belt. After work, my boyfriend and I went to dinner at a restaurant on a high floor of one of the skyscrapers in the city downtown where I work.

6 Saturday: This was the big Valentine's Day date, that we agreed to celebrate Saturday instead of Friday. I wore a red sequin sparkle dress (it looks latex in the illustration, but it is not), that came to about mid-thigh; neutral nylons with pink hearts; red sequin sparkle bow pumps, 4 1/2" heel, 3/4" platform; red rose hair clip; silver bracelet with red roses; crystal dangle earrings with red roses; and crystal necklace with red roses.

The details of the night can be found at this post:

7 Sunday: We wee both still feeling euphoric from the good time the previous night. We just wanted to see each other, so we just hung out at his house. Papa Johns delivered a heart shaped pizza (with pepperoni and banana peppers) and we just cuddled on the couch. I wore a purple turtleneck; “love text” leggings; heeled sneakers (which he got me for Christmas), 2 1/2" heel; and violet conversation hearts earrings, which he got for me the previous day (one of a set).
