I don't own very much mustard but I do have a couple of handknit items, including this asymmetrical top. Paired with dark straight jeans and my navy Fluevogs. I don't like the effect of the mustard right next to my face so I added a navy infinity scarf, which adds some much-needed contrast with my face. (The shoes and scarf look black here, but they are navy IRL.) I also added my silky bomber, although it turned out to be rather warm today so I didn't wear it at all. I do prefer the proportions with the jacket though.

I ended up going shopping this afternoon. In retrospect the heeled boots were not the best idea for 4 hours on my feet but oh well. They weren't too bad. I found some fun purchases. An olive and black VC tube skirt at TJ Maxx! I know I said no more skirts but I couldn't resist. This is less high contrast than my b/w one, so I think it will be very versatile. I also picked up this plaid Lucky Brand shirt. It looks better IRL than it does on the model here. The shirt has a subtle peplumy type thing on the back, which is brilliant for me because it means I don't have to size up for my butt, so the rest of it fits properly rather than slightly too big like many other shirts I own.

Also checked out the new Primark in Downtown Crossing. Verdict: Zoo. It reminded me a lot of F21, very chaotic, super low prices, questionable quality. Sizing seemed a bit on the small side but it was hard to tell as I only tried on a couple of items over my clothes, since I wasn't about to wait for a fitting room.
