Hi Firecracker, Jussie, Rachylou, Sal, Hil, Suntiger, Brooklyn, Cjh, TorontoGirl, Sara L, and Angie --
Thank you and glad the flower-focused combo appeals to you too! Hair up is a default for me (50%?) especially now that I'm a "streaker" so thanks for the lovely compliments.
Firecracker -- Oh no, the "W" word haha (I just had an unfortunate accident redirecting branches of mine, luckily not worse!). But awesome comparison and *usually* one of my favorite climbers!
Sal -- Flattering if orange-tinged lighting here but thank you! I'm not much of a product junkie, esp as I have mild rosacea, but at 50 I do cop to a skincare/makeup regimen that favors moisture.
TG -- I love green and agree it works with basically everything. Very sad only a few cooler shades of it work on me so live vicariously a lot!
Brooklyn -- I'm very much a loose-cannon, bucket-based experimenter so I can't tell you exactly. After using Jacquard liquid silk / wool dye +fixative for years, I've added their powdered iDye as an option. I always used cold water with the liquid but the iDye states warmer temps -- which I avoid for shrinkage reasons. If it helps:
- This MAY have been a mix of the 2 types.
- It probably involved Crimson, Black, and Royal or Midnight Blue as generally those solo or in some mix solve my issues.
- Wet item first
- Dye and dry, then don't be afraid to re-wet and toss back in bucket
- Alternatively, dye/dry and add more and/or different dye colors to original mix
