Decided to dare the bare ankles today, since it's not super freezing today. (Also for whatever reason these grey heat tech leggings are longer than my black ones, so there's only minimal ankle exposed.) I wanted to try this Uniqlo JWA skirt with the leggings the minute I saw this ensemble!
Went for a retro-Victorian effect today with all the neutrals, lace, ruffles, and other fun textures. The cowl is hand-knit out of slubby silk and cotton yarns. I'm getting this Victorian waif effect with the outerwear that I think is really fun. (*waves at Rachylou*) I had some gloves too that are not in the picture, but I think for the full effect I should have put on some fingerless mitts.
