I've been looking for replacement gladiators ever since I returned the pair I found in Boston. Turns out I'm pretty picky about them! I've tried on dozens of pairs, and found these on sale at Amazon. When I got them, they were very comfy, but I wasn't sure about the "thick" ankle so I put them back in the box to return. The next day I tried them again and realized that I like the ankle, even if it's stumpifying. I wore them right away and it turns out they really are comfortable for all-day wear, which is saying something coming from me!
